ga-orhee kabeer jee.
Gauree, Kabeer Jee:

jw kY hir sw Twkuru BweI ] (328-1)
jaa kai har saa thaakur bhaa-ee.
One who has the Lord as his Master, O Siblings of Destiny

mukiq Anµq pukwrix jweI ]1] (328-1)
mukat anant pukaaran jaa-ee. ||1||
- countless liberations knock at his door. ||1||

Ab khu rwm Brosw qorw ] (328-1)
ab kaho raam bharosaa toraa.
If I say now that my trust is in You alone, Lord,

qb kwhU kw kvnu inhorw ]1] rhwau ] (328-2)
tab kaahoo kaa kavan nihoraa. ||1|| rahaa-o.
then what obligation do I have to anyone else? ||1||Pause||

qIin lok jw kY hih Bwr ] (328-2)
teen lok jaa kai heh bhaar.
He bears the burden of the three worlds;

so kwhy n krY pRiqpwr ]2] (328-2)
so kaahay na karai partipaar. ||2||
why should He not cherish you also? ||2||

khu kbIr iek buiD bIcwrI ] (328-3)
kaho kabeer ik buDh beechaaree.
Says Kabeer, through contemplation, I have obtained this one understanding.

ikAw bsu jau ibKu dy mhqwrI ]3]22] (328-3)
ki-aa bas ja-o bikh day mehtaaree. ||3||22||
If the mother poisons her own child, what can anyone do? ||3||22||

Gauree, Kabeer Jee:

ibnu sq sqI hoie kYsy nwir ] (328-4)
bin sat satee ho-ay kaisay naar.
Without Truth, how can the woman be a true satee - a widow who burns herself on her husband's funeral pyre?

pMifq dyKhu irdY bIcwir ]1] (328-4)
pandit daykhhu ridai beechaar. ||1||
O Pandit, O religious scholar, see this and contemplate it within your heart. ||1||

pRIiq ibnw kYsy bDY snyhu ] (328-4)
pareet binaa kaisay baDhai sanayhu.
Without love, how can one's affection increase?

jb lgu rsu qb lgu nhI nyhu ]1] rhwau ] (328-5)
jab lag ras tab lag nahee nayhu. ||1|| rahaa-o.
As long as there is attachment to pleasure, there can be no spiritual love. ||1||Pause||

swhin squ krY jIA ApnY ] (328-5)
saahan sat karai jee-a apnai.
One who, in his own soul, believes the Queen Maya to be true,

so rmXy kau imlY n supnY ]2] (328-5)
so ramyay ka-o milai na supnai. ||2||
does not meet the Lord, even in dreams. ||2||

qnu mnu Dnu igRhu sauip srIru ] (328-6)
tan man Dhan garihu sa-up sareer.
One who surrenders her body, mind, wealth, home and self

soeI suhwgin khY kbIru ]3]23] (328-6)
so-ee suhaagan kahai kabeer. ||3||23||
- she is the true soul-bride, says Kabeer. ||3||23||

Gauree, Kabeer Jee:

ibiKAw ibAwipAw sgl sMswru ] (328-7)
bikhi-aa bi-aapi-aa sagal sansaar.
The whole world is engrossed in corruption.

ibiKAw lY fUbI prvwru ]1] (328-7)
bikhi-aa lai doobee parvaar. ||1||
This corruption has drowned entire families. ||1||

ry nr nwv cauiV kq boVI ] (328-7)
ray nar naav cha-urh kat borhee.
O man, why have you wrecked your boat and sunk it?

hir isau qoiV ibiKAw sMig joVI ]1] rhwau ] (328-8)
har si-o torh bikhi-aa sang jorhee. ||1|| rahaa-o.
You have broken with the Lord, and joined hands with corruption. ||1||Pause||

suir nr dwDy lwgI Awig ] (328-8)
sur nar daaDhay laagee aag.
Angels and human beings alike are burning in the raging fire.

inkit nIru psu pIvis n Jwig ]2] (328-8)
nikat neer pas peevas na jhaag. ||2||
The water is near at hand, but the beast does not drink it in. ||2||

cyqq cyqq inkisE nIru ] (328-9)
chaytat chaytat niksi-o neer.
By constant contemplation and awareness, the water is brought forth.

so jlu inrmlu kQq kbIru ]3]24] (328-9)
so jal nirmal kathat kabeer. ||3||24||
That water is immaculate and pure, says Kabeer. ||3||24||

ga-orhee kabeer jee.
Gauree, Kabeer Jee:

ijh kuil pUqu n igAwn bIcwrI ] (328-10)
jih kul poot na gi-aan beechaaree.
That family, whose son has no spiritual wisdom or contemplation

ibDvw ks n BeI mhqwrI ]1] (328-10)
biDhvaa kas na bha-ee mehtaaree. ||1||
- why didn't his mother just become a widow? ||1||

ijh nr rwm Bgiq nih swDI ] (328-10)
jih nar raam bhagat neh saaDhee.
That man who has not practiced devotional worship of the Lord

jnmq ks n muE AprwDI ]1] rhwau ] (328-11)
janmat kas na mu-o apraaDhee. ||1|| rahaa-o.
- why didn't such a sinful man die at birth? ||1||Pause||

mucu mucu grB gey kIn bicAw ] (328-11)
much much garabh ga-ay keen bachi-aa.
So many pregnancies end in miscarriage - why was this one spared?

bufBuj rUp jIvy jg miJAw ]2] (328-12)
budbhuj roop jeevay jag majhi-aa. ||2||
He lives his life in this world like a deformed amputee. ||2||

khu kbIr jYsy suMdr srUp ] nwm ibnw jYsy kubj kurUp ]3]25] (328-12)
kaho kabeer jaisay sundar saroop. naam binaa jaisay kubaj kuroop. ||3||25||
Says Kabeer, without the Naam, the Name of the Lord, beautiful and handsome people are just ugly hunch-backs. ||3||25||

Gauree, Kabeer Jee:

jo jn lyih Ksm kw nwau ] iqn kY sd bilhwrY jwau ]1] (328-13)
jo jan layhi khasam kaa naa-o. tin kai sad balihaarai jaa-o. ||1||
I am forever a sacrifice to those humble beings who take the Name of their Lord and Master. ||1||

so inrmlu inrml hir gun gwvY ] (328-13)
so nirmal nirmal har gun gaavai.
Those who sing the Glorious Praises of the Pure Lord are pure.

so BweI myrY min BwvY ]1] rhwau ] (328-14)
so bhaa-ee mayrai man bhaavai. ||1|| rahaa-o.
They are my Siblings of Destiny, so dear to my heart. ||1||Pause||

ijh Gt rwmu rihAw BrpUir ] iqn kI pg pMkj hm DUir ]2] (328-14)
jih ghat raam rahi-aa bharpoor. tin kee pag pankaj ham Dhoor. ||2||
I am the dust of the lotus feet of those whose hearts are filled with the All-pervading Lord. ||2||

jwiq julwhw miq kw DIru ] (328-15)
jaat julaahaa mat kaa Dheer.
I am a weaver by birth, and patient of mind.

shij shij gux rmY kbIru ]3]26] (328-15)
sahj sahj gun ramai kabeer. ||3||26||
Slowly, steadily, Kabeer chants the Glories of God. ||3||26||

Gauree, Kabeer Jee:

ggin rswl cuAY myrI BwTI ] (328-16)
gagan rasaal chu-ai mayree bhaathee.
From the Sky of the Tenth Gate, the nectar trickles down, distilled from my furnace.

sMic mhw rsu qnu BieAw kwTI ]1] (328-16)
sanch mahaa ras tan bha-i-aa kaathee. ||1||
I have gathered in this most sublime essence, making my body into firewood. ||1||

auAw kau khIAY shj mqvwrw ] (328-17)
u-aa ka-o kahee-ai sahj matvaaraa.
He alone is called intoxicated with intuitive peace and poise,

pIvq rwm rsu igAwn bIcwrw ]1] rhwau ] (328-17)
peevat raam ras gi-aan beechaaraa. ||1|| rahaa-o.
who drinks in the juice of the Lord's essence, contemplating spiritual wisdom. ||1||Pause||

shj klwlin jau imil AweI ] (328-17)
sahj kalaalan ja-o mil aa-ee.
Intuitive poise is the bar-maid who comes to serve it.

Awnµid mwqy Anidnu jweI ]2] (328-18)
aanand maatay an-din jaa-ee. ||2||
I pass my nights and days in ecstasy. ||2||

cInq cIqu inrMjn lwieAw ] (328-18)
cheenat cheet niranjan laa-i-aa.
Through conscious meditation, I linked my consciousness with the Immaculate Lord.

khu kbIr qO AnBau pwieAw ]3]27] (328-19)
kaho kabeer tou anbha-o paa-i-aa. ||3||27||
Says Kabeer, then I obtained the Fearless Lord. ||3||27||

man kaa subhaa-o maneh bi-aapee.
The natural tendency of the mind is to chase the mind.
