‘Ibrahim’. Sikandar and Ibrahim were from the same clan and were close friends. Ibrahim was a miscreant. Once he started looking at the newly married wife of a young Brahmin, the Brahmin complained to Sikandar. A fight broke out between Alexander and Ibrahim, Ibrahim was caught, but when he regretted what he had done, Alexander let him go. This atrocity was sung by the bards in a long poem known as ‘Vaar’. Guru Amardas Ji has given direction to sing his one ‘Vaar’ in the same tune.
