ਸੰ. बिल्. ਧਾ. ਛੇਦ ਕਰਨਾ, ਚੀਰਨਾ। 2. ਨਾਮ/n. ਖੁੱਡ। 3. ਕੰਦਰਾ. ਗੁਫਾ. “ਬਿਲ ਬਿਰਥੇ ਚਾਹੈ ਬਹੁ ਬਿਕਾਰ” (ਬਸੰ ਅ: ਮਃ ੧) ਦੇਹ ਰੂਪੀ ਗੁਫਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠਾ ਅੰਤਹਕਰਣ ਵ੍ਰਿਥਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਿਕਾਰ ਚਿਤਵਦਾ ਹੈ। 4. ਸੰ. ਬਿਲ੍ਵ. ਬਿਲ ਦਾ ਬਿਰਛ ਅਤੇ ਫਲ. ਸੰਸਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਲ (ਖੁੱਡ) ਅਤੇ ਬਿਲ੍ਵ “ਵ” ਨਾਲ ਭੀ ਸਹੀ ਹਨ.
