Sarṇaagaṫee. 1. ਸਰਨ+ਆਗਤ, ਸਰਨ ਆਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ। 2. ਸਰਣ, ਓਟ, ਪਨਾਹ। 1. refugees, who have taken shelter. 2. refuge, shelter, protection.
ਉਦਾਹਰਨਾ:
1. ਜੋ ਸਤਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਸਰਣਾਗਤੀ ਹਉ ਤਿਨ ਕੈ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਉ ॥ (ਸ਼ਰਣ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ). Raga Sireeraag 3, 45, 4:1 (P: 31).
ਹਮ ਮੂਰਖ ਮੁਗਧ ਸਰਣਾਗਤੀ ਕਰ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਮੇਲੇ ਹਰਿ ਸੋਇ ॥ (ਸਰਣ ਆਇਆ ਹਾਂ). Raga Sireeraag 4, 65, 1:2 (P: 39).
ਸਰਣਾਗਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਪਾਲਤੇ ਹਰਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਵਛਲੁ ਨਾਇਆ ॥ (ਸ਼ਰਨ ਆਏ). Raga Maalee Ga-orhaa 4, 1, 2:1 (P: 984).
2. ਨਾਨਕ ਭਜੁ ਹਰਿ ਸਰਣਾਗਤੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਵੈ ਰਾਮ ॥ Raga Bihaagarhaa 4, Chhant 1, 3:4 (P: 538).
ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਸਰਣਾਗਤੀ ਅਨਦ ਮੰਗਲ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਮ ॥ (ਓਟ). Raga Raamkalee 5, Chhant 4, 1 Salok:1, (P: 926).
