ਜਿਨੀ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਿਸਾਰਿਆ ਸੇ ਹੋਤ ਦੇਖੇ ਖੇਹ ॥ जिनी नामु विसारिआ से होत देखे खेह ॥ Jinee naam visaari▫aa sé hoṫ ḋékʰé kʰéh. Those who have forgotten the Naam, the Name of the Lord - I have seen them reduced to dust. ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਬਿਲਾਸ ਬਨਿਤਾ ਤੂਟਤੇ ਏ ਨੇਹ ॥੧॥ पुत्र मित्र बिलास बनिता तूटते ए नेह ॥१॥ Puṫar miṫar bilaas baniṫaa ṫootṫé é néh. ||1|| The love of children and friends, and the pleasures of married life are torn apart. ||1|| ਮਾਰੂ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ मारू महला ५ ॥ Maaroo mėhlaa 5. Maaroo, Fifth Mehl: ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਤ ਨਿਤ ਲੇਹ ॥ मेरे मन नामु नित नित लेह ॥ Méré man naam niṫ niṫ léh. O my mind! Continually, continuously chant the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ਜਲਤ ਨਾਹੀ ਅਗਨਿ ਸਾਗਰ ਸੂਖੁ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਦੇਹ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ जलत नाही अगनि सागर सूखु मनि तनि देह ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Jalaṫ naahee agan saagar sookʰ man ṫan ḋéh. ||1|| rahaa▫o. You shall not burn in the ocean of fire, and your mind and body shall be blessed with peace. ||1||Pause|| ਬਿਰਖ ਛਾਇਆ ਜੈਸੇ ਬਿਨਸਤ ਪਵਨ ਝੂਲਤ ਮੇਹ ॥ बिरख छाइआ जैसे बिनसत पवन झूलत मेह ॥ Birakʰ chʰaa▫i▫aa jæsé binsaṫ pavan jʰoolaṫ méh. Like the shade of a tree, these things shall pass away, like the clouds blown away by the wind. ਹਰਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਦ੍ਰਿੜੁ ਮਿਲੁ ਸਾਧ ਨਾਨਕ ਤੇਰੈ ਕਾਮਿ ਆਵਤ ਏਹ ॥੨॥੨॥੨੫॥ हरि भगति द्रिड़ु मिलु साध नानक तेरै कामि आवत एह ॥२॥२॥२५॥ Har bʰagaṫ ḋariṛ mil saaḋʰ Naanak ṫéræ kaam aavaṫ éh. ||2||2||25|| Meeting with the Holy, devotional worship to the Lord is implanted within; O Nanak! Only this shall work for you. ||2||2||25||
