ਜਲ ਥਲ ਨੀਰਿ ਭਰੇ ਸੀਤਲ ਪਵਣ ਝੁਲਾਰਦੇ ॥ जल थल नीरि भरे सीतल पवण झुलारदे ॥ Jal ṫʰal neer bʰaré seeṫal pavaṇ jʰulaarḋé. The ponds and the lands are overflowing with water, and the cold wind is blowing. ਮਃ ੫ ॥ मः ५ ॥ Mėhlaa 5. Fifth Mehl: ਸੇਜੜੀਆ ਸੋਇੰਨ ਹੀਰੇ ਲਾਲ ਜੜੰਦੀਆ ॥ सेजड़ीआ सोइंन हीरे लाल जड़ंदीआ ॥ Séjṛee▫aa so▫inn heeré laal jaṛanḋee▫aa. Her bed is adorned with gold, diamonds and rubies; ਸੁਭਰ ਕਪੜ ਭੋਗ ਨਾਨਕ ਪਿਰੀ ਵਿਹੂਣੀ ਤਤੀਆ ॥੩॥ सुभर कपड़ भोग नानक पिरी विहूणी ततीआ ॥३॥ Subʰar kapaṛ bʰog Naanak piree vihooṇee ṫaṫee▫aa. ||3|| she is blessed with beautiful gowns and delicacies, O Nanak! But without her Beloved, she burns in agony. ||3|| ਕਾਰਣੁ ਕਰਤੈ ਜੋ ਕੀਆ ਸੋਈ ਹੈ ਕਰਣਾ ॥ कारणु करतै जो कीआ सोई है करणा ॥ Kaaraṇ karṫæ jo kee▫aa so▫ee hæ karṇaa. He does the deeds which the Creator causes him to do.
