ਨਾਮੁ ਹਮਾਰੈ ਬੇਦ ਅਰੁ ਨਾਦ ॥ नामु हमारै बेद अरु नाद ॥ Naam hamaaræ béḋ ar naaḋ. The Naam, the Name of the Lord, is for me the Vedas and the Sound-current of the Naad. ਨਾਮੁ ਹਮਾਰੈ ਪੂਰੇ ਕਾਜ ॥ नामु हमारै पूरे काज ॥ Naam hamaaræ pooré kaaj. Through the Naam, my tasks are perfectly accomplished. ਭੈਰਉ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ भैरउ महला ५ ॥ Bʰæro mėhlaa 5. Bhairao, Fifth Mehl: ਨਾਮੁ ਹਮਾਰੈ ਪੂਜਾ ਦੇਵ ॥ नामु हमारै पूजा देव ॥ Naam hamaaræ poojaa ḋév. The Naam is my worship of deities. ਨਾਮੁ ਹਮਾਰੈ ਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਸੇਵ ॥੧॥ नामु हमारै गुर की सेव ॥१॥ Naam hamaaræ gur kee sév. ||1|| The Naam is my service to the Guru. ||1|| ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਿਓ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ॥ गुरि पूरै द्रिड़िओ हरि नामु ॥ Gur pooræ ḋariṛa▫o har naam. The Perfect Guru has implanted the Naam within me. ਸਭ ਤੇ ਊਤਮੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕਾਮੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ सभ ते ऊतमु हरि हरि कामु ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Sabʰ ṫé ooṫam har har kaam. ||1|| rahaa▫o. The highest task of all is the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. ||1||Pause|| ਨਾਮੁ ਹਮਾਰੈ ਮਜਨ ਇਸਨਾਨੁ ॥ नामु हमारै मजन इसनानु ॥ Naam hamaaræ majan isnaan. The Naam is my cleansing bath and purification. ਨਾਮੁ ਹਮਾਰੈ ਪੂਰਨ ਦਾਨੁ ॥ नामु हमारै पूरन दानु ॥ Naam hamaaræ pooran ḋaan. The Naam is my perfect donation to charity. ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਤ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਾਈ ਮੀਤ ॥੨॥ नामु जपत मेरे भाई मीत ॥२॥ Naam japaṫ méré bʰaa▫ee meeṫ. ||2|| Those who chant the Naam are my friends and Siblings of Destiny. ||2|| ਨਾਮੁ ਹਮਾਰੈ ਸਉਣ ਸੰਜੋਗ ॥ नामु हमारै सउण संजोग ॥ Naam hamaaræ sa▫uṇ sanjog. The Naam is my auspicious omen and good fortune. ਨਾਮੁ ਲੈਤ ਤੇ ਸਗਲ ਪਵੀਤ ॥ नामु लैत ते सगल पवीत ॥ Naam læṫ ṫé sagal paveeṫ. Those who repeat the Naam are totally purified. ਨਾਮੁ ਹਮਾਰੈ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਸੁਭੋਗ ॥ नामु हमारै त्रिपति सुभोग ॥ Naam hamaaræ ṫaripaṫ subʰog. The Naam is the sublime food which satisfies me. ਨਾਮੁ ਹਮਾਰੈ ਸਗਲ ਆਚਾਰ ॥ नामु हमारै सगल आचार ॥ Naam hamaaræ sagal aachaar. The Naam is my good conduct. ਨਾਮੁ ਹਮਾਰੈ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਬਿਉਹਾਰ ॥੩॥ नामु हमारै निरमल बिउहार ॥३॥ Naam hamaaræ nirmal bi▫uhaar. ||3|| The Naam is my immaculate occupation. ||3|| ਜਾ ਕੈ ਮਨਿ ਵਸਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਏਕੁ ॥ जा कै मनि वसिआ प्रभु एकु ॥ Jaa kæ man vasi▫aa parabʰ ék. All those humble beings whose minds are filled with the One God ਸਗਲ ਜਨਾ ਕੀ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਟੇਕ ॥ सगल जना की हरि हरि टेक ॥ Sagal janaa kee har har ték. have the Support of the Lord, Har, Har. ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਉ ॥ मनि तनि नानक हरि गुण गाउ ॥ Man ṫan Naanak har guṇ gaa▫o. O Nanak! Sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord with your mind and body. ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਜਿਸੁ ਦੇਵੈ ਨਾਉ ॥੪॥੨੨॥੩੫॥ साधसंगि जिसु देवै नाउ ॥४॥२२॥३५॥ Saaḋʰsang jis ḋévæ naa▫o. ||4||22||35|| In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, the Lord bestows His Name. ||4||22||35||
