ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥ Ik▫oaⁿkaar saṫgur parsaaḋ. One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru: ਭੈਰਉ ਨਾਮਦੇਉ ਜੀਉ ਘਰੁ ੨ भैरउ नामदेउ जीउ घरु २ Bʰæro naamḋé▫o jee▫o gʰar 2 Bhairao, Namdev Jee, Second House: ਜੈਸੀ ਭੂਖੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਅਨਾਜ ॥ जैसी भूखे प्रीति अनाज ॥ Jæsee bʰookʰé pareeṫ anaaj. As the hungry person loves food, ਤ੍ਰਿਖਾਵੰਤ ਜਲ ਸੇਤੀ ਕਾਜ ॥ त्रिखावंत जल सेती काज ॥ Ṫarikʰaavaⁿṫ jal séṫee kaaj. and the thirsty person is obsessed with water, ਜੈਸੀ ਮੂੜ ਕੁਟੰਬ ਪਰਾਇਣ ॥ जैसी मूड़ कुट्मब पराइण ॥ Jæsee mooṛ kutamb paraa▫iṇ. and as the fool is attached to his family- ਐਸੀ ਨਾਮੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਨਰਾਇਣ ॥੧॥ ऐसी नामे प्रीति नराइण ॥१॥ Æsee naamé pareeṫ naraa▫iṇ. ||1|| just so, the Lord is very dear to Namdev. ||1|| ਨਾਮੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ਲਾਗੀ ॥ नामे प्रीति नाराइण लागी ॥ Naamé pareeṫ naaraa▫iṇ laagee. Namdev is in love with the Lord. ਸਹਜ ਸੁਭਾਇ ਭਇਓ ਬੈਰਾਗੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ सहज सुभाइ भइओ बैरागी ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Sahj subʰaa▫é bʰa▫i▫o bæraagee. ||1|| rahaa▫o. He has naturally and intuitively become detached from the world. ||1||Pause|| ਜੈਸੀ ਪਰ ਪੁਰਖਾ ਰਤ ਨਾਰੀ ॥ जैसी पर पुरखा रत नारी ॥ Jæsee par purkʰaa raṫ naaree. Like the woman who falls in love with another man, ਕਾਮੀ ਪੁਰਖ ਕਾਮਨੀ ਪਿਆਰੀ ॥ कामी पुरख कामनी पिआरी ॥ Kaamee purakʰ kaamnee pi▫aaree. and the sexually promiscuous man who loves women and sex, ਐਸੀ ਨਾਮੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਮੁਰਾਰੀ ॥੨॥ ऐसी नामे प्रीति मुरारी ॥२॥ Æsee naamé pareeṫ muraaree. ||2|| just so, Namdev is in love with the Lord. ||2|| ਲੋਭੀ ਨਰੁ ਧਨ ਕਾ ਹਿਤਕਾਰੀ ॥ लोभी नरु धन का हितकारी ॥ Lobʰee nar ḋʰan kaa hiṫkaaree. and the greedy man who loves only wealth, ਸਾਈ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਜਿ ਆਪੇ ਲਾਏ ॥ साई प्रीति जि आपे लाए ॥ Saa▫ee pareeṫ jė aapé laa▫é. But that alone is real love, which the Lord Himself inspires; ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਜਾਏ ॥ गुर परसादी दुबिधा जाए ॥ Gur parsaadee ḋubiḋʰaa jaa▫é. by Guru’s Grace, duality is eradicated. ਕਬਹੁ ਨ ਤੂਟਸਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਮਾਇ ॥ कबहु न तूटसि रहिआ समाइ ॥ Kabahu na ṫootas rahi▫aa samaa▫é. Such love never breaks; through it, the mortal remains merged in the Lord. ਨਾਮੇ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਇਆ ਸਚਿ ਨਾਇ ॥੩॥ नामे चितु लाइआ सचि नाइ ॥३॥ Naamé chiṫ laa▫i▫aa sach naa▫é. ||3|| Namdev has focused his consciousness on the True Name. ||3|| ਜੈਸੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਬਾਰਿਕ ਅਰੁ ਮਾਤਾ ॥ जैसी प्रीति बारिक अरु माता ॥ Jæsee pareeṫ baarik ar maaṫaa. Like the love between the child and its mother, ਐਸਾ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਤੀ ਮਨੁ ਰਾਤਾ ॥ ऐसा हरि सेती मनु राता ॥ Æsaa har séṫee man raaṫaa. So is my mind imbued with the Lord. ਗੋਬਿਦੁ ਬਸੈ ਹਮਾਰੈ ਚੀਤਿ ॥੪॥੧॥੭॥ गोबिदु बसै हमारै चीति ॥४॥१॥७॥ Gobiḋ basæ hamaaræ cheeṫ. ||4||1||7|| The Lord of the Universe abides within my consciousness. ||4||1||7||
