ਜੈਸਾ ਕਰੈ ਕਹਾਵੈ ਤੈਸਾ ਐਸੀ ਬਨੀ ਜਰੂਰਤਿ ॥ जैसा करै कहावै तैसा ऐसी बनी जरूरति ॥ Jæsaa karæ kahaavæ ṫæsaa æsee banee jarooraṫ. Mortals are known by their actions; this is the way it has to be. ਮਃ ੨ ॥ मः २ ॥ Mėhlaa 2. Second Mehl: ਜੋ ਓਸੁ ਇਛੇ ਸੋ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਏ ਤਾਂ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਹੀਐ ਮੂਰਤਿ ॥੨॥ जो ओसु इछे सो फलु पाए तां नानक कहीऐ मूरति ॥२॥ Jo os ichʰé so fal paa▫é ṫaaⁿ Naanak kahee▫æ mooraṫ. ||2|| Whatever they desire, they shall receive; O Nanak! They become the very image of God. ||2|| ਹੋਵਹਿ ਲਿੰਙ ਝਿੰਙ ਨਹ ਹੋਵਹਿ ਐਸੀ ਕਹੀਐ ਸੂਰਤਿ ॥ होवहि लिंङ झिंङ नह होवहि ऐसी कहीऐ सूरति ॥ Hovėh liń jʰiń nah hovėh æsee kahee▫æ sooraṫ. They should show goodness, and not be deformed by their actions; this is how they are called beautiful.
