ਹਰਿ ਕੈ ਭਜਨਿ ਕਉਨ ਕਉਨ ਨ ਤਾਰੇ ॥ हरि कै भजनि कउन कउन न तारे ॥ Har kæ bʰajan ka▫un ka▫un na ṫaaré. Malaar, Fifth Mehl: ਦੇਵ ਕੁਲ ਦੈਤ ਕੁਲ ਜਖੵ ਕਿੰਨਰ ਨਰ ਸਾਗਰ ਉਤਰੇ ਪਾਰੇ ॥ देव कुल दैत कुल जख्य किंनर नर सागर उतरे पारे ॥ Ḋév kul ḋæṫ kul jakʰ▫y kinnar nar saagar uṫré paaré. The families of gods, the families of demons, titans, celestial singers and human beings are carried across the ocean. ਖਗ ਤਨ ਮੀਨ ਤਨ ਮ੍ਰਿਗ ਤਨ ਬਰਾਹ ਤਨ ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗਿ ਉਧਾਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ खग तन मीन तन म्रिग तन बराह तन साधू संगि उधारे ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Kʰag ṫan meen ṫan marig ṫan baraah ṫan saaḋʰoo sang uḋʰaaré. ||1|| rahaa▫o. Those reborn into the body of a bird, the body of a fish, the body of a deer, and the body of a bull - in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, they are saved. ||1||Pause|| ਜੋ ਜੋ ਭਜਨੁ ਕਰੈ ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗਿ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਦੂਖ ਬਿਦਾਰੇ ॥੧॥ जो जो भजनु करै साधू संगि ता के दूख बिदारे ॥१॥ Jo jo bʰajan karæ saaḋʰoo sang ṫaa ké ḋookʰ biḋaaré. ||1|| Whoever meditates and vibrates on the Lord in the Saadh Sangat - his pains are taken away. ||1|| ਕਾਮ ਕਰੋਧ ਮਹਾ ਬਿਖਿਆ ਰਸ ਇਨ ਤੇ ਭਏ ਨਿਰਾਰੇ ॥ काम करोध महा बिखिआ रस इन ते भए निरारे ॥ Kaam karoḋʰ mahaa bikʰi▫aa ras in ṫé bʰa▫é niraaré. Sexual desire, anger and the pleasures of terrible corruption - he keeps away from these. ਦੀਨ ਦਇਆਲ ਜਪਹਿ ਕਰੁਣਾ ਮੈ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਦ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੇ ॥੨॥੯॥੧੩॥ दीन दइआल जपहि करुणा मै नानक सद बलिहारे ॥२॥९॥१३॥ Ḋeen ḋa▫i▫aal jaapėh karuṇaa mæ Naanak saḋ balihaaré. ||2||9||13|| He meditates on the Lord, Merciful to the meek, the Embodiment of Compassion; Nanak is forever a sacrifice to Him. ||2||9||13||
