ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਵਣਿ ਜੇ ਵਸੈ ਚਹੁ ਵੇਛੋੜਾ ਹੋਇ ॥ नानक सावणि जे वसै चहु वेछोड़ा होइ ॥ Naanak saavaṇ jé vasæ chahu véchʰoṛaa ho▫é. O Nanak! When it rains in the month of Saawan, four suffer the pains of separation: ਮਃ ੧ ॥ मः १ ॥ Mėhlaa 1. First Mehl: ਗਾਈ ਪੁਤਾ ਨਿਰਧਨਾ ਪੰਥੀ ਚਾਕਰੁ ਹੋਇ ॥੨॥ गाई पुता निरधना पंथी चाकरु होइ ॥२॥ Gaa▫ee puṫaa nirḋʰanaa panṫʰee chaakar ho▫é. ||2|| the cow’s calves, the poor, the travelers and the servants. ||2||
