ਹਮਰੀ ਜਿਹਬਾ ਏਕ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਗੁਣ ਅਗਮ ਅਥਾਹ ॥ हमरी जिहबा एक प्रभ हरि के गुण अगम अथाह ॥ Hamree jihbaa ék parabʰ har ké guṇ agam aṫʰaah. I have only one tongue, and the Glorious Virtues of the Lord God are Unapproachable and Unfathomable. ਸਲੋਕ ਮਃ ੪ ॥ सलोक मः ४ ॥ Salok mėhlaa 4. Shalok, Fourth Mehl: ਹਰਿ ਦੇਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਤਿ ਊਤਮਾ ਗੁਰ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਪਗਿ ਪਾਹ ॥ हरि देहु प्रभू मति ऊतमा गुर सतिगुर कै पगि पाह ॥ Har ḋéh parabʰoo maṫ ooṫmaa gur saṫgur kæ pag paah. O Lord God, please bless me with that sublime wisdom, so that I may fall at the Feet of the Guru, the True Guru. ਹਮ ਕਿਉ ਕਰਿ ਜਪਹ ਇਆਣਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਤੁਮ ਵਡ ਅਗਮ ਅਗਾਹ ॥ हम किउ करि जपह इआणिआ हरि तुम वड अगम अगाह ॥ Ham ki▫o kar japah i▫aaṇi▫aa har ṫum vad agam agaah. I am ignorant - how can I meditate on You, Lord? You are Great, Unapproachable and Immeasurable. ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਮੇਲਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਹਮ ਪਾਪੀ ਸੰਗਿ ਤਰਾਹ ॥ सतसंगति हरि मेलि प्रभ हम पापी संगि तराह ॥ Saṫsangaṫ har mél parabʰ ham paapee sang ṫaraah. O Lord God, please lead me to the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation, where even a sinner like myself may be saved. ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਉ ਹਰਿ ਬਖਸਿ ਲੈਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਤੁਠੈ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਹ ॥ जन नानक कउ हरि बखसि लैहु हरि तुठै मेलि मिलाह ॥ Jan Naanak ka▫o har bakʰas læhu har ṫutʰæ mél milaah. O Lord, please bless and forgive servant Nanak; please unite him in Your Union. ਹਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਿ ਸੁਣਿ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਹਮ ਪਾਪੀ ਕਿਰਮ ਤਰਾਹ ॥੧॥ हरि किरपा करि सुणि बेनती हम पापी किरम तराह ॥१॥ Har kirpaa kar suṇ bénṫee ham paapee kiram ṫaraah. ||1|| O Lord, please be merciful and hear my prayer; I am a sinner and a worm - please save me! ||1||
