ਮਃ ੪ ॥ मः ४ ॥ Mėhlaa 4. Fourth Mehl: ਹਰਿ ਤੂਹੈ ਦਾਤਾ ਸਭਸ ਦਾ ਸਭਿ ਜੀਅ ਤੁਮੑਾਰੇ ॥ हरि तूहै दाता सभस दा सभि जीअ तुम्हारे ॥ Har ṫoohæ ḋaaṫaa sabʰas ḋaa sabʰ jee▫a ṫumĥaaré. Lord, You are the Great Giver of all; all beings are Yours. ਹਰਿ ਦਾਤੈ ਦਾਤਾਰਿ ਹਥੁ ਕਢਿਆ ਮੀਹੁ ਵੁਠਾ ਸੈਸਾਰੇ ॥ हरि दातै दातारि हथु कढिआ मीहु वुठा सैसारे ॥ Har ḋaaṫæ ḋaaṫaar haṫʰ kadʰi▫aa meehu vutʰaa sæsaaré. The Generous Lord, the Great Giver reaches out with His Hands, and the rain pours down on the world. ਸਭਿ ਤੁਧੈ ਨੋ ਆਰਾਧਦੇ ਦਾਨੁ ਦੇਹਿ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥ सभि तुधै नो आराधदे दानु देहि पिआरे ॥ Sabʰ ṫuḋʰæ no aaraaḋʰaḋé ḋaan ḋėh pi▫aaré. They all worship You in adoration; You bless them with Your Bounty, O Beloved. ਅੰਨੁ ਜੰਮਿਆ ਖੇਤੀ ਭਾਉ ਕਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਮੑਾਰੇ ॥ अंनु जंमिआ खेती भाउ करि हरि नामु सम्हारे ॥ Ann jammi▫aa kʰéṫee bʰaa▫o kar har naam samĥaaré. The corn germinates in the fields; contemplate the Lord’s Name with love. ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਮੰਗੈ ਦਾਨੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਧਾਰੇ ॥੨॥ जनु नानकु मंगै दानु प्रभ हरि नामु अधारे ॥२॥ Jan Naanak mangæ ḋaan parabʰ har naam aḋʰaaré. ||2|| Servant Nanak begs for the Gift of the Support of the Name of his Lord God. ||2||
