ਕੂੜੁ ਬੋਲਿ ਮੁਰਦਾਰੁ ਖਾਇ ॥ कूड़ु बोलि मुरदारु खाइ ॥ Kooṛ bol murḋaar kʰaa▫é. Telling lies, they eat dead bodies. ਸਲੋਕੁ ਮਃ ੧ ॥ सलोकु मः १ ॥ Salok mėhlaa 1. Shalok, First Mehl: ਮੁਠਾ ਆਪਿ ਮੁਹਾਏ ਸਾਥੈ ॥ मुठा आपि मुहाए साथै ॥ Mutʰaa aap muhaa▫é saaṫʰæ. They are deceived, and they deceive their companions. ਨਾਨਕ ਐਸਾ ਆਗੂ ਜਾਪੈ ॥੧॥ नानक ऐसा आगू जापै ॥१॥ Naanak æsaa aagoo jaapæ. ||1|| O Nanak! Such are the leaders of men. ||1||
