ਜੋਗ ਜੁਗਤਿ ਸੁਨਿ ਆਇਓ ਗੁਰ ਤੇ ॥ जोग जुगति सुनि आइओ गुर ते ॥ Jog jugaṫ sun aa▫i▫o gur ṫé. I came to the Guru to learn the Way of Yoga. ਗਉੜੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ गउड़ी महला ५ ॥ Ga▫oṛee mėhlaa 5. Gauree, Fifth Mehl: ਮੋ ਕਉ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸਬਦਿ ਬੁਝਾਇਓ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ मो कउ सतिगुर सबदि बुझाइओ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Mo ka▫o saṫgur sabaḋ bujʰaa▫i▫o. ||1|| rahaa▫o. The True Guru has revealed it to me through the Word of the Shabad. ||1||Pause|| ਨਉ ਖੰਡ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮੀ ਇਸੁ ਤਨ ਮਹਿ ਰਵਿਆ ਨਿਮਖ ਨਿਮਖ ਨਮਸਕਾਰਾ ॥ नउ खंड प्रिथमी इसु तन महि रविआ निमख निमख नमसकारा ॥ Na▫o kʰand pariṫʰmee is ṫan mėh ravi▫aa nimakʰ nimakʰ namaskaaraa. He is contained in the nine continents of the world, and within this body; each and every moment, I humbly bow to Him. ਦੀਖਿਆ ਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਮੁੰਦ੍ਰਾ ਕਾਨੀ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਿਓ ਏਕੁ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰਾ ॥੧॥ दीखिआ गुर की मुंद्रा कानी द्रिड़िओ एकु निरंकारा ॥१॥ Ḋeekʰi▫aa gur kee munḋraa kaanee ḋariṛi▫o ék nirankaaraa. ||1|| I have made the Guru’s Teachings my earrings, and I have enshrined the One Formless Lord within my being. ||1|| ਪੰਚ ਚੇਲੇ ਮਿਲਿ ਭਏ ਇਕਤ੍ਰਾ ਏਕਸੁ ਕੈ ਵਸਿ ਕੀਏ ॥ पंच चेले मिलि भए इकत्रा एकसु कै वसि कीए ॥ Panch chélé mil bʰa▫é ikṫaraa ékas kæ vas kee▫é. I have brought the five disciples together, and they are now under the control of the one mind. ਦਸ ਬੈਰਾਗਨਿ ਆਗਿਆਕਾਰੀ ਤਬ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਜੋਗੀ ਥੀਏ ॥੨॥ दस बैरागनि आगिआकारी तब निरमल जोगी थीए ॥२॥ Ḋas bæraagan aagi▫aakaaree ṫab nirmal jogee ṫʰee▫é. ||2|| When the ten hermits became obedient to the Lord, then I became an immaculate Yogi. ||2|| ਭਰਮੁ ਜਰਾਇ ਚਰਾਈ ਬਿਭੂਤਾ ਪੰਥੁ ਏਕੁ ਕਰਿ ਪੇਖਿਆ ॥ भरमु जराइ चराई बिभूता पंथु एकु करि पेखिआ ॥ Bʰaram jaraa▫é charaa▫ee bibʰooṫaa panṫʰ ék kar pékʰi▫aa. I have burnt my doubt, and smeared my body with the ashes. My path is to see the One and Only Lord. ਸਹਜ ਸੂਖ ਸੋ ਕੀਨੀ ਭੁਗਤਾ ਜੋ ਠਾਕੁਰਿ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਲੇਖਿਆ ॥੩॥ सहज सूख सो कीनी भुगता जो ठाकुरि मसतकि लेखिआ ॥३॥ Sahj sookʰ so keenee bʰugṫaa jo tʰaakur masṫak lékʰi▫aa. ||3|| I have made that intuitive peace my food; the Lord Master has written this preordained destiny upon my forehead. ||3|| ਜਹ ਭਉ ਨਾਹੀ ਤਹਾ ਆਸਨੁ ਬਾਧਿਓ ਸਿੰਗੀ ਅਨਹਤ ਬਾਨੀ ॥ जह भउ नाही तहा आसनु बाधिओ सिंगी अनहत बानी ॥ Jah bʰa▫o naahee ṫahaa aasan baaḋʰi▫o singee anhaṫ baanee. In that place where there is no fear, I have assumed my Yogic posture. The unstruck melody of His Bani is my horn. ਤਤੁ ਬੀਚਾਰੁ ਡੰਡਾ ਕਰਿ ਰਾਖਿਓ ਜੁਗਤਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਨੀ ॥੪॥ ततु बीचारु डंडा करि राखिओ जुगति नामु मनि भानी ॥४॥ Ṫaṫ beechaar dandaa kar raakʰi▫o jugaṫ naam man bʰaanee. ||4|| I have made contemplation upon the essential reality my Yogic staff. The Love of the Name in my mind is my Yogic lifestyle. ||4|| ਐਸਾ ਜੋਗੀ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਭੇਟੈ ਮਾਇਆ ਕੇ ਬੰਧਨ ਕਾਟੈ ॥ ऐसा जोगी वडभागी भेटै माइआ के बंधन काटै ॥ Æsaa jogee vadbʰaagee bʰétæ maa▫i▫aa ké banḋʰan kaatæ. By great good fortune, such a Yogi is met, who cuts away the bonds of Maya. ਸੇਵਾ ਪੂਜ ਕਰਉ ਤਿਸੁ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਕੀ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਤਿਸੁ ਪਗ ਚਾਟੈ ॥੫॥੧੧॥੧੩੨॥ सेवा पूज करउ तिसु मूरति की नानकु तिसु पग चाटै ॥५॥११॥१३२॥ Sévaa pooj kara▫o ṫis mooraṫ kee Naanak ṫis pag chaatæ. ||5||11||132|| Nanak serves and adores this wondrous person, and kisses his feet. ||5||11||132||
