ਤਤਾ ਤਾ ਸਿਉ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਕਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਨਿਧਿ ਗੋਬਿਦ ਰਾਇ ॥ तता ता सिउ प्रीति करि गुण निधि गोबिद राइ ॥ Ṫaṫaa ṫaa si▫o pareeṫ kar guṇ niḋʰ gobiḋ raa▫é. TATTA: Embrace love for the Treasure of Excellence, the Sovereign Lord of the Universe. ਫਲ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਮਨ ਬਾਛਤੇ ਤਪਤਿ ਤੁਹਾਰੀ ਜਾਇ ॥ फल पावहि मन बाछते तपति तुहारी जाइ ॥ Fal paavahi man baachʰ▫ṫé ṫapaṫ ṫuhaaree jaa▫é. You shall obtain the fruits of your mind’s desires, and your burning thirst shall be quenched. ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛee. Pauree: ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਮਿਟੈ ਜਮ ਪੰਥ ਕੀ ਜਾਸੁ ਬਸੈ ਮਨਿ ਨਾਉ ॥ त्रास मिटै जम पंथ की जासु बसै मनि नाउ ॥ Ṫaraas mitæ jam panṫʰ kee jaas basæ man naa▫o. One whose heart is filled with the Name shall have no fear on the path of death. ਗਤਿ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਮਤਿ ਹੋਇ ਪ੍ਰਗਾਸ ਮਹਲੀ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਠਾਉ ॥ गति पावहि मति होइ प्रगास महली पावहि ठाउ ॥ Gaṫ paavahi maṫ ho▫é pargaas mahlee paavahi tʰaa▫o. He shall obtain salvation, and his intellect shall be enlightened; he will find his place in the Mansion of the Lord’s Presence. ਤਾਹੂ ਸੰਗਿ ਨ ਧਨੁ ਚਲੈ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਜੋਬਨ ਨਹ ਰਾਜ ॥ ताहू संगि न धनु चलै ग्रिह जोबन नह राज ॥ Ṫaahoo sang na ḋʰan chalæ garih joban nah raaj. Neither wealth, nor household, nor youth, nor power shall go along with you. ਸੰਤਸੰਗਿ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਰਹਹੁ ਇਹੈ ਤੁਹਾਰੈ ਕਾਜ ॥ संतसंगि सिमरत रहहु इहै तुहारै काज ॥ Saṫsang simraṫ rahhu ihæ ṫuhaaræ kaaj. In the Society of the Saints, meditate in remembrance of the Lord. This alone shall be of use to you. ਤਾਤਾ ਕਛੂ ਨ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਜਉ ਤਾਪ ਨਿਵਾਰੈ ਆਪ ॥ ताता कछू न होई है जउ ताप निवारै आप ॥ Ṫaaṫaa kachʰoo na ho▫ee hæ ja▫o ṫaap nivaaræ aap. There will be no burning at all, when He Himself takes away your fever. ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲੈ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਮਹਿ ਆਪਹਿ ਮਾਈ ਬਾਪ ॥੩੨॥ प्रतिपालै नानक हमहि आपहि माई बाप ॥३२॥ Paraṫipaalæ Naanak hamėh aapėh maa▫ee baap. ||32|| O Nanak! The Lord Himself cherishes us; He is our Mother and Father. ||32||
