ਪੂਰਨਮਾ ਪੂਰਨ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਏਕੁ ਕਰਣ ਕਾਰਣ ਸਮਰਥੁ ॥ पूरनमा पूरन प्रभ एकु करण कारण समरथु ॥ Poornamaa pooran parabʰ ék karaṇ kaaraṇ samraṫʰ. The day of the full moon: God alone is Perfect; He is the All-powerful Cause of all causes. ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛee. Pauree: ਗੁਣ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਗੁਰ ਕੀਆ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਹੋਇ ॥ गुण निधान गोबिंद गुर कीआ जा का होइ ॥ Guṇ niḋʰaan gobinḋ gur kee▫aa jaa kaa ho▫é. He is the Treasure of Excellence, the Lord of the Universe; through the Guru, He acts. ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ ਦਇਆਲ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਸਭ ਊਪਰਿ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਹਥੁ ॥ जीअ जंत दइआल पुरखु सभ ऊपरि जा का हथु ॥ Jee▫a janṫ ḋa▫i▫aal purakʰ sabʰ oopar jaa kaa haṫʰ. The Lord is kind and compassionate to all beings and creatures; His Protecting Hand is over all. ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੁਜਾਨੁ ਅਲਖ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਸੋਇ ॥ अंतरजामी प्रभु सुजानु अलख निरंजन सोइ ॥ Anṫarjaamee parabʰ sujaan alakʰ niranjan so▫é. God, the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts, is All-knowing, Unseen and Immaculately Pure. ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਪਰਮੇਸਰੋ ਸਭ ਬਿਧਿ ਜਾਨਣਹਾਰ ॥ पारब्रहमु परमेसरो सभ बिधि जानणहार ॥ Paarbarahm parmésaro sabʰ biḋʰ jaanaṇhaar. The Supreme Lord God, the Transcendent Lord, is the Knower of all ways and means. ਸੰਤ ਸਹਾਈ ਸਰਨਿ ਜੋਗੁ ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ॥ संत सहाई सरनि जोगु आठ पहर नमसकार ॥ Sanṫ sahaa▫ee saran jog aatʰ pahar namaskaar. He is the Support of His Saints, with the Power to give Sanctuary. Twenty-four hours a day, I bow in reverence to Him. ਅਕਥ ਕਥਾ ਨਹ ਬੂਝੀਐ ਸਿਮਰਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਚਰਨ ॥ अकथ कथा नह बूझीऐ सिमरहु हरि के चरन ॥ Akaṫʰ kaṫʰaa nah boojʰee▫æ simrahu har ké charan. His Unspoken Speech cannot be understood; I meditate on the Feet of the Lord. ਪਤਿਤ ਉਧਾਰਨ ਅਨਾਥ ਨਾਥ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਸਰਨ ॥੧੬॥ पतित उधारन अनाथ नाथ नानक प्रभ की सरन ॥१६॥ Paṫiṫ uḋʰaaran anaaṫʰ naaṫʰ Naanak parabʰ kee saran. ||16|| He is the Saving Grace of sinners, the Master of the masterless; Nanak has entered God’s Sanctuary. ||16||
