ਜਿਥੈ ਬੈਸਨਿ ਸਾਧ ਜਨ ਸੋ ਥਾਨੁ ਸੁਹੰਦਾ ॥ जिथै बैसनि साध जन सो थानु सुहंदा ॥ Jiṫʰæ bæsan saaḋʰ jan so ṫʰaan suhanḋaa. Beautiful is that place, where the Holy people dwell. ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛee. Pauree: ਓਇ ਸੇਵਨਿ ਸੰਮ੍ਰਿਥੁ ਆਪਣਾ ਬਿਨਸੈ ਸਭੁ ਮੰਦਾ ॥ ओइ सेवनि संम्रिथु आपणा बिनसै सभु मंदा ॥ O▫é sévan sammriṫʰ aapṇaa binsæ sabʰ manḋaa. They serve their All-powerful Lord, and they give up all their evil ways. ਪਤਿਤ ਉਧਾਰਣ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਸੰਤ ਬੇਦੁ ਕਹੰਦਾ ॥ पतित उधारण पारब्रहम संत बेदु कहंदा ॥ Paṫiṫ uḋʰaaraṇ paarbarahm sanṫ béḋ kahanḋaa. The Saints and the Vedas proclaim, that the Supreme Lord God is the Saving Grace of sinners. ਭਗਤਿ ਵਛਲੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਬਿਰਦੁ ਹੈ ਜੁਗਿ ਜੁਗਿ ਵਰਤੰਦਾ ॥ भगति वछलु तेरा बिरदु है जुगि जुगि वरतंदा ॥ Bʰagaṫ vachʰal ṫéraa biraḋ hæ jug jug varṫanḋaa. You are the Lover of Your devotees - this is Your natural way, in each and every age. ਨਾਨਕੁ ਜਾਚੈ ਏਕੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਭਾਵੰਦਾ ॥੫॥ नानकु जाचै एकु नामु मनि तनि भावंदा ॥५॥ Naanak jaachæ ék naam man ṫan bʰaavanḋaa. ||5|| Nanak asks for the One Name, which is pleasing to his mind and body. ||5||
