ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਇ ॥ प्रभ की प्रीति सदा सुखु होइ ॥ Parabʰ kee pareeṫ saḋaa sukʰ ho▫é. In the Love of God, eternal peace is obtained. ਆਸਾ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ आसा महला ५ ॥ Aasaa mėhlaa 5. Aasaa, Fifth Mehl: ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਹਉਮੈ ਮਲੁ ਖੋਇ ॥ प्रभ की प्रीति हउमै मलु खोइ ॥ Parabʰ kee pareeṫ ha▫umæ mal kʰo▫é. In the Love of God, the filth of ego is washed away. ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਦੁਖੁ ਲਗੈ ਨ ਕੋਇ ॥ प्रभ की प्रीति दुखु लगै न कोइ ॥ Parabʰ kee pareeṫ ḋukʰ lagæ na ko▫é. In the Love of God, one is not touched by pain. ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਸਦ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਹੋਇ ॥੧॥ प्रभ की प्रीति सद निरमल होइ ॥१॥ Parabʰ kee pareeṫ saḋ nirmal ho▫é. ||1|| In the Love of God, one becomes forever immaculate. ||1|| ਸੁਨਹੁ ਮੀਤ ਐਸਾ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਪਿਆਰੁ ॥ सुनहु मीत ऐसा प्रेम पिआरु ॥ Sunhu meeṫ æsaa parém pi▫aar. Listen, O friend: show such love and affection to God, ਜੀਅ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਘਟ ਘਟ ਆਧਾਰੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ जीअ प्रान घट घट आधारु ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Jee▫a paraan gʰat gʰat aaḋʰaar. ||1|| rahaa▫o. the Support of the soul, the breath of life, of each and every heart. ||1||Pause|| ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਭਏ ਸਗਲ ਨਿਧਾਨ ॥ प्रभ की प्रीति भए सगल निधान ॥ Parabʰ kee pareeṫ bʰa▫é sagal niḋʰaan. In the Love of God, all treasures are obtained. ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਰਿਦੈ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਨਾਮ ॥ प्रभ की प्रीति रिदै निरमल नाम ॥ Parabʰ kee pareeṫ riḋæ nirmal naam. In the Love of God, the Immaculate Naam fills the heart. ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਇਹੁ ਭਵਜਲੁ ਤਰੈ ॥ प्रभ की प्रीति इहु भवजलु तरै ॥ Parabʰ kee pareeṫ ih bʰavjal ṫaræ. In the Love of God, one crosses over this terrible world-ocean. ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਸਭ ਮਿਟੀ ਹੈ ਚਿੰਤ ॥੨॥ प्रभ की प्रीति सभ मिटी है चिंत ॥२॥ Parabʰ kee pareeṫ sabʰ mitee hæ chinṫ. ||2|| In the Love of God, all anxiety is ended. ||2|| ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਸਦ ਸੋਭਾਵੰਤ ॥ प्रभ की प्रीति सद सोभावंत ॥ Parabʰ kee pareeṫ saḋ sobʰaavanṫ. In the Love of God, one is eternally embellished. ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਜਮ ਤੇ ਨਹੀ ਡਰੈ ॥ प्रभ की प्रीति जम ते नही डरै ॥ Parabʰ kee pareeṫ jam ṫé nahee daræ. In the Love of God, one does not fear death. ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਸਗਲ ਉਧਾਰੈ ॥ प्रभ की प्रीति सगल उधारै ॥ Parabʰ kee pareeṫ sagal uḋʰaaræ. In the Love of God, all are saved. ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਚਲੈ ਸੰਗਾਰੈ ॥੩॥ प्रभ की प्रीति चलै संगारै ॥३॥ Parabʰ kee pareeṫ chalæ sangaaré. ||3|| The Love of God shall go along with you. ||3|| ਆਪਹੁ ਕੋਈ ਮਿਲੈ ਨ ਭੂਲੈ ॥ आपहु कोई मिलै न भूलै ॥ Aaphu ko▫ee milæ na bʰoolæ. By himself, no one is united, and no one goes astray. ਜਿਸੁ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲੁ ਤਿਸੁ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਘੂਲੈ ॥ जिसु क्रिपालु तिसु साधसंगि घूलै ॥ Jis kirpaal ṫis saaḋʰsang gʰoolæ. One who is blessed by God’s Mercy, joins the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy. ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਤੇਰੈ ਕੁਰਬਾਣੁ ॥ कहु नानक तेरै कुरबाणु ॥ Kaho Naanak ṫéræ kurbaaṇ. Says Nanak, I am a sacrifice to You. ਸੰਤ ਓਟ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤੇਰਾ ਤਾਣੁ ॥੪॥੩੪॥੮੫॥ संत ओट प्रभ तेरा ताणु ॥४॥३४॥८५॥ Sanṫ ot parabʰ ṫéraa ṫaaṇ. ||4||34||85|| O God, You are the Support and the Strength of the Saints. ||4||34||85|| ਕਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਅਨਰਥ ਵਿਹਾਝੀ ਮਾਇਆ ॥ करि करि अनरथ विहाझी माइआ ॥ Kar kar anraṫʰ vihaajee maa▫i▫aa. oppressing the people, he gathers wealth. ਭੂਪਤਿ ਹੋਇ ਕੈ ਰਾਜੁ ਕਮਾਇਆ ॥ भूपति होइ कै राजु कमाइआ ॥ Bʰoopaṫ ho▫é kæ raaj kamaa▫i▫aa. Becoming a king, the mortal wields his royal authority;
