ਸਰਬ ਸੁਖਾ ਮੈ ਭਾਲਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਜੇਵਡੁ ਨ ਕੋਈ ॥ सरब सुखा मै भालिआ हरि जेवडु न कोई ॥ Sarab sukʰaa mæ bʰaali▫aa har jévad na ko▫ee. I have pursued all pleasures, but none is as great as the Lord. ਆਸਾ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ आसा महला ५ ॥ Aasaa mėhlaa 5. Aasaa, Fifth Mehl: ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ਗੁਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਦ ਸਦ ਕੁਰਬਾਨਾ ॥ बलिहारी गुर आपणे सद सद कुरबाना ॥ Balihaaree gur aapṇé saḋ saḋ kurbaanaa. I am a sacrifice to my Guru; I am forever and ever a sacrifice to Him. ਨਾਮੁ ਨ ਵਿਸਰਉ ਇਕੁ ਖਿਨੁ ਚਸਾ ਇਹੁ ਕੀਜੈ ਦਾਨਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ नामु न विसरउ इकु खिनु चसा इहु कीजै दाना ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Naam na visra▫o ik kʰin chasaa ih keejæ ḋaanaa. ||1|| rahaa▫o. Please, grant me this one blessing, so that I may never, even for an instant, forget Your Name. ||1||Pause|| ਗੁਰ ਤੁਠੇ ਤੇ ਪਾਈਐ ਸਚੁ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਸੋਈ ॥੧॥ गुर तुठे ते पाईऐ सचु साहिबु सोई ॥१॥ Gur ṫutʰé ṫé paa▫ee▫æ sach saahib so▫ee. ||1|| By the Pleasure of the Guru’s Will, the True Lord Master is obtained. ||1|| ਭਾਗਠੁ ਸਚਾ ਸੋਇ ਹੈ ਜਿਸੁ ਹਰਿ ਧਨੁ ਅੰਤਰਿ ॥ भागठु सचा सोइ है जिसु हरि धनु अंतरि ॥ Bʰaagatʰ sachaa so▫é hæ jis har ḋʰan anṫar. How very fortunate are those who have the wealth of the Lord deep within the heart. ਸੋ ਛੂਟੈ ਮਹਾ ਜਾਲ ਤੇ ਜਿਸੁ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੁ ਨਿਰੰਤਰਿ ॥੨॥ सो छूटै महा जाल ते जिसु गुर सबदु निरंतरि ॥२॥ So chʰootæ mahaa jaal ṫé jis gur sabaḋ niranṫar. ||2|| They escape from the great noose of death; they are permeated with the Word of the Guru’s Shabad. ||2|| ਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਕਿਆ ਕਹਾ ਗੁਰੁ ਬਿਬੇਕ ਸਤ ਸਰੁ ॥ गुर की महिमा किआ कहा गुरु बिबेक सत सरु ॥ Gur kee mahimaa ki▫aa kahaa gur bibék saṫ sar. How can I chant the Glorious Praises of the Guru? The Guru is the ocean of Truth and clear understanding. ਓਹੁ ਆਦਿ ਜੁਗਾਦੀ ਜੁਗਹ ਜੁਗੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਪਰਮੇਸਰੁ ॥੩॥ ओहु आदि जुगादी जुगह जुगु पूरा परमेसरु ॥३॥ Oh aaḋ jugaaḋee jugah jug pooraa parmésar. ||3|| He is the Perfect Transcendent Lord, from the very beginning, and throughout the ages. ||3|| ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਵਹੁ ਸਦ ਸਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਮਨੁ ਰੰਗੇ ॥ नामु धिआवहु सद सदा हरि हरि मनु रंगे ॥ Naam ḋʰi▫aavahu saḋ saḋaa har har man rangé. Meditating on the Naam, the Name of the Lord, forever and ever, my mind is filled with the Love of the Lord, Har, Har. ਜੀਉ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਧਨੁ ਗੁਰੂ ਹੈ ਨਾਨਕ ਕੈ ਸੰਗੇ ॥੪॥੨॥੧੦੪॥ जीउ प्राण धनु गुरू है नानक कै संगे ॥४॥२॥१०४॥ Jee▫o paraaṇ ḋʰan guroo hæ Naanak kæ sangé. ||4||2||104|| The Guru is my soul, my breath of life, and wealth; O Nanak! He is with me forever. ||4||2||104||
