ਕੋਇ ਨ ਕਿਸ ਹੀ ਸੰਗਿ ਕਾਹੇ ਗਰਬੀਐ ॥ कोइ न किस ही संगि काहे गरबीऐ ॥ Ko▫é na kis hee sang kaahé garbee▫æ. No one is anyone’s companion; why take any pride in others? ਏਕੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਆਧਾਰੁ ਭਉਜਲੁ ਤਰਬੀਐ ॥੧॥ एकु नामु आधारु भउजलु तरबीऐ ॥१॥ Ék naam aaḋʰaar bʰa▫ojal ṫarbee▫æ. ||1|| With the Support of the One Name, this terrible world-ocean is crossed over. ||1|| ਆਸਾ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ आसा महला ५ ॥ Aasaa mėhlaa 5. Aasaa, Fifth Mehl: ਮੈ ਗਰੀਬ ਸਚੁ ਟੇਕ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ॥ मै गरीब सचु टेक तूं मेरे सतिगुर पूरे ॥ Mæ gareeb sach ték ṫooⁿ méré saṫgur pooré. You are the True Support of me, the poor mortal, O my Perfect True Guru. ਦੇਖਿ ਤੁਮੑਾਰਾ ਦਰਸਨੋ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨੁ ਧੀਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ देखि तुम्हारा दरसनो मेरा मनु धीरे ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Ḋékʰ ṫumĥaaraa ḋarsano méraa man ḋʰeeré. ||1|| rahaa▫o. Gazing upon the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan, my mind is encouraged. ||1||Pause|| ਰਾਜੁ ਮਾਲੁ ਜੰਜਾਲੁ ਕਾਜਿ ਨ ਕਿਤੈ ਗਨੋੁ ॥ राजु मालु जंजालु काजि न कितै गनुो ॥ Raaj maal janjaal kaaj na kiṫæ gano. Royal powers, wealth, and worldly involvements are of no use at all. ਹਰਿ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਆਧਾਰੁ ਨਿਹਚਲੁ ਏਹੁ ਧਨੋੁ ॥੨॥ हरि कीरतनु आधारु निहचलु एहु धनुो ॥२॥ Har keerṫan aaḋʰaar nihchal éhu ḋʰano. ||2|| The Kirtan of the Lord’s Praise is my Support; this wealth is everlasting. ||2|| ਜੇਤੇ ਮਾਇਆ ਰੰਗ ਤੇਤ ਪਛਾਵਿਆ ॥ जेते माइआ रंग तेत पछाविआ ॥ Jéṫé maa▫i▫aa rang ṫéṫ pachʰaavi▫aa. As many as are the pleasures of Maya, so many are the shadows they leave. ਸੁਖ ਕਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਗਾਵਿਆ ॥੩॥ सुख का नामु निधानु गुरमुखि गाविआ ॥३॥ Sukʰ kaa naam niḋʰaan gurmukʰ gaavi▫aa. ||3|| The Gurmukhs sing of the Naam, the treasure of peace. ||3|| ਸਚਾ ਗੁਣੀ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਤੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਗਹਿਰ ਗੰਭੀਰੇ ॥ सचा गुणी निधानु तूं प्रभ गहिर ग्मभीरे ॥ Sachaa guṇee niḋʰaan ṫooⁿ parabʰ gahir gambʰeeré. You are the True Lord, the treasure of excellence; O God, You are deep and unfathomable. ਆਸ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਖਸਮ ਕਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਕੇ ਜੀਅਰੇ ॥੪॥੯॥੧੧੧॥ आस भरोसा खसम का नानक के जीअरे ॥४॥९॥१११॥ Aas bʰarosaa kʰasam kaa Naanak ké jee▫aré. ||4||9||111|| The Lord Master is the hope and support of Nanak’s mind. ||4||9||111||
