ਜਿਨ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਜਿਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਮੋ ਕਉ ਕਰਿ ਉਪਦੇਸੁ ਹਰਿ ਮੀਠ ਲਗਾਵੈ ॥ जिन सतिगुरु पुरखु जिनि हरि प्रभु पाइआ मो कउ करि उपदेसु हरि मीठ लगावै ॥ Jin saṫgur purakʰ jin har parabʰ paa▫i▫aa mo ka▫o kar upḋés har meetʰ lagaavæ. One who has found the Lord God through the True Guru, has made the Lord seem so sweet to me, through His Teachings. ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਸੀਤਲੁ ਸਭ ਹਰਿਆ ਹੋਆ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਵੈ ॥੧॥ मनु तनु सीतलु सभ हरिआ होआ वडभागी हरि नामु धिआवै ॥१॥ Man ṫan seeṫal sabʰ hari▫aa ho▫aa vadbʰaagee har naam ḋʰi▫aavæ. ||1|| My mind and body have been cooled and soothed, and totally rejuvenated; by great good fortune, I meditate on the Name of the Lord. ||1|| ਭਾਈ ਰੇ ਮੋ ਕਉ ਕੋਈ ਆਇ ਮਿਲੈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਵੈ ॥ भाई रे मो कउ कोई आइ मिलै हरि नामु द्रिड़ावै ॥ Bʰaa▫ee ré mo ka▫o ko▫ee aa▫é milæ har naam ḋariṛ▫aavæ. O Siblings of Destiny, let anyone who can implant the Lord’s Name within me, come and meet with me. ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਸਭੁ ਦੇਵਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਹਰਿ ਕਥਾ ਸੁਨਾਵੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ मेरे प्रीतम प्रान मनु तनु सभु देवा मेरे हरि प्रभ की हरि कथा सुनावै ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Méré pareeṫam paraan man ṫan sabʰ ḋévaa méré har parabʰ kee har kaṫʰaa sunaavæ. ||1|| rahaa▫o. Unto my Beloved, I give my mind and body, and my very breath of life. He speaks to me of the sermon of my Lord God. ||1||Pause|| ਧੀਰਜੁ ਧਰਮੁ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਨਿਤ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੈ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਉ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਵੈ ॥ धीरजु धरमु गुरमति हरि पाइआ नित हरि नामै हरि सिउ चितु लावै ॥ Ḋʰeeraj ḋʰaram gurmaṫ har paa▫i▫aa niṫ har naamæ har si▫o chiṫ laavæ. Through the Guru’s Teachings, I have obtained courage, faith and the Lord. He keeps my mind focused continually on the Lord, and the Name of the Lord. ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਬਚਨ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਜੋ ਬੋਲੈ ਸੋ ਮੁਖਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਪਾਵੈ ॥੨॥ अमृत बचन सतिगुर की बाणी जो बोलै सो मुखि अमृतु पावै ॥२॥ Amriṫ bachan saṫgur kee baṇee jo bolæ so mukʰ amriṫ paavæ. ||2|| The Words of the True Guru’s Teachings are Ambrosial Nectar; this Amrit trickles into the mouth of the one who chants them. ||2|| ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਿਤੁ ਮੈਲੁ ਨ ਲਾਗੈ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪੈ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਵੈ ॥ निरमलु नामु जितु मैलु न लागै गुरमति नामु जपै लिव लावै ॥ Nirmal naam jiṫ mæl na laagæ gurmaṫ naam japæ liv laavæ. Immaculate is the Naam, which cannot be stained by filth. Through the Guru’s Teachings, chant the Naam with love. ਨਾਮੁ ਪਦਾਰਥੁ ਜਿਨ ਨਰ ਨਹੀ ਪਾਇਆ ਸੇ ਭਾਗਹੀਣ ਮੁਏ ਮਰਿ ਜਾਵੈ ॥੩॥ नामु पदारथु जिन नर नही पाइआ से भागहीण मुए मरि जावै ॥३॥ Naam paḋaaraṫʰ jin nar nahee paa▫i▫aa sé bʰaagheeṇ mu▫é mar jaavæ. ||3|| That man who has not found the wealth of the Naam is most unfortunate; he dies over and over again. ||3|| ਆਨਦ ਮੂਲੁ ਜਗਜੀਵਨ ਦਾਤਾ ਸਭ ਜਨ ਕਉ ਅਨਦੁ ਕਰਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਵੈ ॥ आनद मूलु जगजीवन दाता सभ जन कउ अनदु करहु हरि धिआवै ॥ Aanaḋ mool jagjeevan ḋaaṫaa sabʰ jan ka▫o anaḋ karahu har ḋʰi▫aavæ. The source of bliss, the Life of the world, the Great Giver brings bliss to all who meditate on the Lord. ਤੂੰ ਦਾਤਾ ਜੀਅ ਸਭਿ ਤੇਰੇ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਬਖਸਿ ਮਿਲਾਵੈ ॥੪॥੬॥ तूं दाता जीअ सभि तेरे जन नानक गुरमुखि बखसि मिलावै ॥४॥६॥ Ṫooⁿ ḋaaṫaa jee▫a sabʰ ṫéré jan Naanak gurmukʰ bakʰas milaavæ. ||4||6|| You are the Great Giver, all beings belong to You. O servant Nanak! You forgive the Gurmukhs, and merge them into Yourself. ||4||6||
