ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਜਿਨਾ ਨ ਸੇਵਿਓ ਸਬਦਿ ਨ ਲਗੋ ਪਿਆਰੁ ॥ सतिगुरु जिना न सेविओ सबदि न लगो पिआरु ॥ Saṫgur jinaa na sévi▫o sabaḋ na lago pi▫aar. Those who do not serve the True Guru do not embrace love for the Word of the Shabad. ਮਃ ੩ ॥ मः ३ ॥ Mėhlaa 3. Third Mehl: ਸਹਜੇ ਨਾਮੁ ਨ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਕਿਤੁ ਆਇਆ ਸੰਸਾਰਿ ॥ सहजे नामु न धिआइआ कितु आइआ संसारि ॥ Sėhjé naam na ḋʰi▫aa▫i▫aa kiṫ aa▫i▫aa sansaar. They do not meditate on the Celestial Naam, the Name of the Lord - why did they even bother to come into the world? ਫਿਰਿ ਫਿਰਿ ਜੂਨੀ ਪਾਈਐ ਵਿਸਟਾ ਸਦਾ ਖੁਆਰੁ ॥ फिरि फिरि जूनी पाईऐ विसटा सदा खुआरु ॥ Fir fir joonee paa▫ee▫æ vistaa saḋaa kʰu▫aar. Time and time again, they are reincarnated, and they rot away forever in manure. ਕੂੜੈ ਲਾਲਚਿ ਲਗਿਆ ਨਾ ਉਰਵਾਰੁ ਨ ਪਾਰੁ ॥ कूड़ै लालचि लगिआ ना उरवारु न पारु ॥ Kooṛæ laalach lagi▫aa naa urvaar na paar. They are attached to false greed; they are not on this shore, nor on the one beyond. ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਉਬਰੇ ਜਿ ਆਪਿ ਮੇਲੇ ਕਰਤਾਰਿ ॥੨॥ नानक गुरमुखि उबरे जि आपि मेले करतारि ॥२॥ Naanak gurmukʰ ubré jė aap mélé karṫaar. ||2|| O Nanak! The Gurmukhs are saved; the Creator Lord unites them with Himself. ||2||
