ਧਨੁ ਸੰਪੈ ਮਾਇਆ ਸੰਚੀਐ ਅੰਤੇ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ॥ धनु स्मपै माइआ संचीऐ अंते दुखदाई ॥ Ḋʰan sampæ maa▫i▫aa sanchee▫æ anṫé ḋukʰ▫ḋaa▫ee. Gathering the wealth and property of Maya, brings only pain in the end. ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛee. Pauree: ਹਰ ਰੰਗੀ ਤੁਰੇ ਨਿਤ ਪਾਲੀਅਹਿ ਕਿਤੈ ਕਾਮਿ ਨ ਆਈ ॥ हर रंगी तुरे नित पालीअहि कितै कामि न आई ॥ Har rangee ṫuré niṫ paalee▫ah kiṫæ kaam na aa▫ee. He may breed horses of various colors, but these will not be of any use to him. ਘਰ ਮੰਦਰ ਮਹਲ ਸਵਾਰੀਅਹਿ ਕਿਛੁ ਸਾਥਿ ਨ ਜਾਈ ॥ घर मंदर महल सवारीअहि किछु साथि न जाई ॥ Gʰar manḋar mahal savaaree▫ah kichʰ saaṫʰ na jaa▫ee. Homes, mansions and adorned palaces will not go with anyone. ਜਨ ਲਾਵਹੁ ਚਿਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਉ ਅੰਤਿ ਹੋਇ ਸਖਾਈ ॥ जन लावहु चितु हरि नाम सिउ अंति होइ सखाई ॥ Jan laavhu chiṫ har naam si▫o anṫ ho▫é sakʰaa▫ee. O human, link your consciousness to the Lord’s Name, and in the end, it shall be your companion and helper. ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਈ ॥੧੫॥ जन नानक नामु धिआइआ गुरमुखि सुखु पाई ॥१५॥ Jan Naanak naam ḋʰi▫aa▫i▫aa gurmukʰ sukʰ paa▫ee. ||15|| Servant Nanak meditates on the Naam, the Name of the Lord; the Gurmukh is blessed with peace. ||15||
