ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿਓ ਤਿਨ ਕਾ ਦੂਖੁ ਭਰਮੁ ਭਉ ਭਾਗੀ ॥ हरि के संत जना हरि जपिओ तिन का दूखु भरमु भउ भागी ॥ Har ké sanṫ janaa har japi▫o ṫin kaa ḋookʰ bʰaram bʰa▫o bʰaagee. The humble Saints of the Lord meditate on the Lord; their pain, doubt and fear have run away. ਧਨਾਸਰੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੪ ॥ धनासरी महला ४ ॥ Ḋʰanaasree mėhlaa 4. Dhanaasaree, Fourth Mehl: ਹਰਿ ਕੈ ਨਾਮਿ ਰਤਾ ਬੈਰਾਗੀ ॥ हरि कै नामि रता बैरागी ॥ Har kæ naam raṫaa bæraagee. Imbued with the Lord’s Name, they are unattached to the world. ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕਥਾ ਸੁਣੀ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਗੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ हरि हरि कथा सुणी मनि भाई गुरमति हरि लिव लागी ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Har har kaṫʰaa suṇee man bʰaa▫ee gurmaṫ har liv laagee. ||1|| rahaa▫o. Listening to the sermon of the Lord, Har, Har, their minds are pleased; through Guru’s Instruction, they enshrine love for the Lord. ||1||Pause|| ਅਪਨੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਆਪਿ ਕਰਾਈ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਜਾਗੀ ॥੧॥ अपनी सेवा आपि कराई गुरमति अंतरि जागी ॥१॥ Apnee sévaa aap karaa▫ee gurmaṫ anṫar jaagee. ||1|| The Lord Himself inspires them to serve Him; they are awakened within to the Guru’s Teachings. ||1|| ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਕੀ ਜਾਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤੁਮੑ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਹਮ ਸਾਂਗੀ ॥ संत जना की जाति हरि सुआमी तुम्ह ठाकुर हम सांगी ॥ Sanṫ janaa kee jaaṫ har su▫aamee ṫumĥ tʰaakur ham saaⁿgee. God, the Lord and Master, is the caste and social status of His humble Saints. You are the Lord and Master; I am just Your puppet. ਜੈਸੀ ਮਤਿ ਦੇਵਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹਮ ਤੈਸੇ ਬੁਲਗ ਬੁਲਾਗੀ ॥੨॥ जैसी मति देवहु हरि सुआमी हम तैसे बुलग बुलागी ॥२॥ Jæsee maṫ ḋévhu har su▫aamee ham ṫæsé bulag bulaagee. ||2|| As is the understanding You bless us with, so are the words we speak. ||2|| ਕਿਆ ਹਮ ਕਿਰਮ ਨਾਨੑ ਨਿਕ ਕੀਰੇ ਤੁਮੑ ਵਡ ਪੁਰਖ ਵਡਾਗੀ ॥ किआ हम किरम नान्ह निक कीरे तुम्ह वड पुरख वडागी ॥ Ki▫aa ham kiram naanĥ nik keeré ṫumĥ vad purakʰ vadaagee. What are we? Tiny worms, and microscopic germs. You are our great and glorious Lord and Master. ਤੁਮੑਰੀ ਗਤਿ ਮਿਤਿ ਕਹਿ ਨ ਸਕਹ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਹਮ ਕਿਉ ਕਰਿ ਮਿਲਹ ਅਭਾਗੀ ॥੩॥ तुम्हरी गति मिति कहि न सकह प्रभ हम किउ करि मिलह अभागी ॥३॥ Ṫumĥree gaṫ miṫ kahi na sakah parabʰ ham ki▫o kar milah abʰaagee. ||3|| I cannot describe Your state and extent. O God, how can we unfortunate ones meet with You? ||3|| ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰਹੁ ਹਮ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਾਗੀ ॥ हरि प्रभ सुआमी किरपा धारहु हम हरि हरि सेवा लागी ॥ Har parabʰ su▫aamee kirpaa ḋʰaarahu ham har har sévaa laagee. O God, my Lord and Master, shower me with Your Mercy, and commit me to Your service. ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸਨਿ ਦਾਸੁ ਕਰਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਹਮ ਹਰਿ ਕਥਾ ਕਥਾਗੀ ॥੪॥੨॥ नानक दासनि दासु करहु प्रभ हम हरि कथा कथागी ॥४॥२॥ Naanak ḋaasan ḋaas karahu parabʰ ham har kaṫʰaa kaṫʰaagee. ||4||2|| Make Nanak the slave of Your slaves, God; I speak the speech of the Lord’s sermon. ||4||2||
