By The Grace Of The True Guru: ਧਨਾਸਰੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੪ ਘਰੁ ੫ ਦੁਪਦੇ धनासरी महला ४ घरु ५ दुपदे Ḋʰanaasree mėhlaa 4 gʰar 5 ḋupḋé Dhanaasaree, Fourth Mehl, Fifth House, Du-Padas: ਅਦ੍ਰਿਸਟੁ ਅਗੋਚਰੁ ਅਪਰੰਪਰ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਿ ਦੀਨੇ ॥੧॥ अद्रिसटु अगोचरु अपर्मपर सुआमी गुरि पूरै प्रगट करि दीने ॥१॥ Aḋrist agochar aprampar su▫aamee gur pooræ pargat kar ḋeené. ||1|| The Lord Master is unseen, unfathomable and unreachable; through the Perfect Guru, He is revealed. ||1|| ਉਰ ਧਾਰਿ ਬੀਚਾਰਿ ਮੁਰਾਰਿ ਰਮੋ ਰਮੁ ਮਨਮੋਹਨ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪੀਨੇ ॥ उर धारि बीचारि मुरारि रमो रमु मनमोहन नामु जपीने ॥ Ur ḋʰaar beechaar muraar ramo ram manmohan naam japeené. Enshrine the Lord within your heart, and contemplate Him. Dwell upon Him, reflect upon Him, and chant the Name of the Lord, the Enticer of hearts. ਰਾਮ ਪਾਰਸ ਚੰਦਨ ਹਮ ਕਾਸਟ ਲੋਸਟ ॥ राम पारस चंदन हम कासट लोसट ॥ Raam paaras chanḋan ham kaasat losat. The Lord is the philosopher’s stone, which transforms lead into gold, and sandalwood, while I am just dry wood and iron. ਹਰਿ ਸੰਗਿ ਹਰੀ ਸਤਸੰਗੁ ਭਏ ਹਰਿ ਕੰਚਨੁ ਚੰਦਨੁ ਕੀਨੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ हरि संगि हरी सतसंगु भए हरि कंचनु चंदनु कीने ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Har sang haree saṫsang bʰa▫é har kanchan chanḋan keené. ||1|| rahaa▫o. Associating with the Lord, and the Sat Sangat, the Lord’s True Congregation, the Lord has transformed me into gold and sandalwood. ||1||Pause|| ਨਵ ਛਿਅ ਖਟੁ ਬੋਲਹਿ ਮੁਖ ਆਗਰ ਮੇਰਾ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਇਵ ਨ ਪਤੀਨੇ ॥ नव छिअ खटु बोलहि मुख आगर मेरा हरि प्रभु इव न पतीने ॥ Nav chʰi▫a kʰat bolėh mukʰ aagar méraa har parabʰ iv na paṫeené. One may repeat, verbatim, the nine grammars and the six Shastras, but my Lord God is not pleased by this. ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਸਦ ਧਿਆਵਹੁ ਇਉ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਭੀਨੇ ॥੨॥੧॥੭॥ जन नानक हरि हिरदै सद धिआवहु इउ हरि प्रभु मेरा भीने ॥२॥१॥७॥ Jan Naanak har hirḋæ saḋ ḋʰi▫aavahu i▫o har parabʰ méraa bʰeené. ||2||1||7|| O servant Nanak! Meditate forever on the Lord in your heart; this is what pleases my Lord God. ||2||1||7||
