ਜਿਨਿ ਕੀਨੇ ਵਸਿ ਅਪੁਨੈ ਤ੍ਰੈ ਗੁਣ ਭਵਣ ਚਤੁਰ ਸੰਸਾਰਾ ॥ जिनि कीने वसि अपुनै त्रै गुण भवण चतुर संसारा ॥ Jin keené vas apunæ ṫaræ guṇ bʰavaṇ chaṫur sansaaraa. She controls the three qualities and the four directions of the world. ਧਨਾਸਰੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ धनासरी महला ५ ॥ Ḋʰanaasree mėhlaa 5. Dhanaasaree, Fifth Mehl: ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਓਟ ਗਹੀ ਤਉ ਛੂਟੋ ॥ प्रभ की ओट गही तउ छूटो ॥ Parabʰ kee ot gahee ṫa▫o chʰooto. I grasped God’s Support and Protection, and then I was emancipated. ਜਗ ਇਸਨਾਨ ਤਾਪ ਥਾਨ ਖੰਡੇ ਕਿਆ ਇਹੁ ਜੰਤੁ ਵਿਚਾਰਾ ॥੧॥ जग इसनान ताप थान खंडे किआ इहु जंतु विचारा ॥१॥ Jag isnaan ṫaap ṫʰaan kʰandé ki▫aa ih janṫ vichaaraa. ||1|| She destroys sacrificial feasts, cleansing baths, penances and sacred places of pilgrimage; what is this poor person to do? ||1|| ਸਾਧ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਗਾਏ ਬਿਖੈ ਬਿਆਧਿ ਤਬ ਹੂਟੋ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ साध प्रसादि हरि हरि हरि गाए बिखै बिआधि तब हूटो ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Saaḋʰ parsaaḋ har har har gaa▫é bikʰæ bi▫aaḋʰ ṫab hooto. ||1|| rahaa▫o. By the Grace of the Holy Saints, I sang the Praises of the Lord, Har, Har, Har, and my sins and afflictions were taken away. ||1||Pause|| ਨਹ ਸੁਣੀਐ ਨਹ ਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਬਕੀਐ ਨਹ ਮੋਹੈ ਉਹ ਡੀਠੀ ॥ नह सुणीऐ नह मुख ते बकीऐ नह मोहै उह डीठी ॥ Nah suṇee▫æ nah mukʰ ṫé bakee▫æ nah mohæ uh deetʰee. She is not heard - she does not speak with a mouth; she is not seen enticing mortals. ਐਸੀ ਠਗਉਰੀ ਪਾਇ ਭੁਲਾਵੈ ਮਨਿ ਸਭ ਕੈ ਲਾਗੈ ਮੀਠੀ ॥੨॥ ऐसी ठगउरी पाइ भुलावै मनि सभ कै लागै मीठी ॥२॥ Æsee tʰag▫uree paa▫é bʰulaavæ man sabʰ kæ laagæ meetʰee. ||2|| She administers her intoxicating drug, and so confuses them; thus, she seems sweet to everyone’s mind. ||2|| ਮਾਇ ਬਾਪ ਪੂਤ ਹਿਤ ਭ੍ਰਾਤਾ ਉਨਿ ਘਰਿ ਘਰਿ ਮੇਲਿਓ ਦੂਆ ॥ माइ बाप पूत हित भ्राता उनि घरि घरि मेलिओ दूआ ॥ Maa▫é baap pooṫ hiṫ bʰaraaṫaa un gʰar gʰar méli▫o ḋoo▫aa. In each and every home, she has implanted the sense of duality in mother, father, children, friends and siblings. ਕਿਸ ਹੀ ਵਾਧਿ ਘਾਟਿ ਕਿਸ ਹੀ ਪਹਿ ਸਗਲੇ ਲਰਿ ਲਰਿ ਮੂਆ ॥੩॥ किस ही वाधि घाटि किस ही पहि सगले लरि लरि मूआ ॥३॥ Kis hee vaaḋʰ gʰaat kis hee pėh saglé lar lar moo▫aa. ||3|| Some have more, and some have less; they fight and fight, to the death. ||3|| ਹਉ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਜਿਨਿ ਇਹੁ ਚਲਤੁ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ ॥ हउ बलिहारी सतिगुर अपुने जिनि इहु चलतु दिखाइआ ॥ Ha▫o balihaaree saṫgur apuné jin ih chalaṫ ḋikʰaa▫i▫aa. I am a sacrifice to my True Guru, who has shown me this wondrous play. ਗੂਝੀ ਭਾਹਿ ਜਲੈ ਸੰਸਾਰਾ ਭਗਤ ਨ ਬਿਆਪੈ ਮਾਇਆ ॥੪॥ गूझी भाहि जलै संसारा भगत न बिआपै माइआ ॥४॥ Goojʰee bʰaahi jalæ sansaaraa bʰagaṫ na bi▫aapæ maa▫i▫aa. ||4|| The world is being consumed by this hidden fire, but Maya does not cling to the Lord’s devotees. ||4|| ਸੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਮਹਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਸਗਲੇ ਬੰਧਨ ਕਾਟੇ ॥ संत प्रसादि महा सुखु पाइआ सगले बंधन काटे ॥ Sanṫ parsaaḋ mahaa sukʰ paa▫i▫aa saglé banḋʰan kaaté. By the Grace of the Saints, I have obtained supreme bliss, and all my bonds have been broken. ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਧਨੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਅਪੁਨੈ ਘਰਿ ਲੈ ਆਇਆ ਖਾਟੇ ॥੫॥੧੧॥ हरि हरि नामु नानक धनु पाइआ अपुनै घरि लै आइआ खाटे ॥५॥११॥ Har har naam Naanak ḋʰan paa▫i▫aa apunæ gʰar læ aa▫i▫aa kʰaaté. ||5||11|| Nanak has obtained the wealth of the Name of the Lord, Har, Har; having earned his profits, he has now returned home. ||5||11|| ਤੁਮ ਦਾਤੇ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲਕ ਨਾਇਕ ਖਸਮ ਹਮਾਰੇ ॥ तुम दाते ठाकुर प्रतिपालक नाइक खसम हमारे ॥ Ṫum ḋaaṫé tʰaakur parṫipaalak naa▫ik kʰasam hamaaré. You are the Giver, O Lord, O Cherisher, my Master, my Husband Lord.
