In the Society of the Saints, the Lord dwells within the heart. ||1||Pause|| ਸਨਕ ਸਨੰਦ ਮਹੇਸ ਸਮਾਨਾਂ ॥ सनक सनंद महेस समानां ॥ Sanak sanand mahés samaanaaⁿ. Beings like Sanak, Sanand, Shiva, ਹਨੂਮਾਨ ਸਰਿ ਗਰੁੜ ਸਮਾਨਾਂ ॥ हनूमान सरि गरुड़ समानां ॥ Hanoomaan sar garuṛ samaanaaⁿ. Beings like Hanumaan, Garura, ਸੁਰਪਤਿ ਨਰਪਤਿ ਨਹੀ ਗੁਨ ਜਾਨਾਂ ॥੨॥ सुरपति नरपति नही गुन जानां ॥२॥ Surpaṫ narpaṫ nahee gun jaanaaⁿ. ||2|| Indra the King of the gods and the rulers of humans - none of them know Your Glories, Lord. ||2|| ਚਾਰਿ ਬੇਦ ਅਰੁ ਸਿੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਪੁਰਾਨਾਂ ॥ चारि बेद अरु सिंम्रिति पुरानां ॥ Chaar béḋ ar simriṫ puraanaaⁿ. The four Vedas, the Smritis and the Puranas, ਕਮਲਾਪਤਿ ਕਵਲਾ ਨਹੀ ਜਾਨਾਂ ॥੩॥ कमलापति कवला नही जानां ॥३॥ Kamlaapaṫ kavlaa nahee jaanaaⁿ. ||3|| Vishnu the Lord of Lakshmi and Lakshmi herself - none of them know the Lord. ||3|| ਕਹਿ ਕਬੀਰ ਸੋ ਭਰਮੈ ਨਾਹੀ ॥ कहि कबीर सो भरमै नाही ॥ Kahi Kabeer so bʰarmæ naahee. Says Kabir, one does not wander around lost, ਪਗ ਲਗਿ ਰਾਮ ਰਹੈ ਸਰਨਾਂਹੀ ॥੪॥੧॥ पग लगि राम रहै सरनांही ॥४॥१॥ Pag lag raam rahæ sarnaaⁿhee. ||4||1|| who falls at the Lord’s feet and remains in His Sanctuary. ||4||1||
