ਤਾ ਚੇ ਹੰਸਾ ਸਗਲੇ ਜਨਾਂ ॥ ता चे हंसा सगले जनां ॥ Ṫaa ché hansaa saglé janaaⁿ. from them, all the swan-souls came into being. ਪਹਿਲ ਪੁਰੀਏ ਪੁੰਡਰਕ ਵਨਾ ॥ पहिल पुरीए पुंडरक वना ॥ Pahil puree▫é pundrak vanaa. First of all, the lotuses bloomed in the woods; ਪਹਿਲ ਪੁਰਸਾਬਿਰਾ ॥ पहिल पुरसाबिरा ॥ Pahil pursaabiraa. First of all, there was only the Primal Being. ਅਥੋਨ ਪੁਰਸਾਦਮਰਾ ॥ अथोन पुरसादमरा ॥ Aṫʰon pursaaḋmaraa. From that Primal Being, Maya was produced. ਕ੍ਰਿਸ੍ਨਾ ਤੇ ਜਾਨਊ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਚੰਤੀ ਨਾਚਨਾ ॥੧॥ क्रिस्ना ते जानऊ हरि हरि नाचंती नाचना ॥१॥ Krisnaa ṫé jaan▫oo har har naachanṫee naachnaa. ||1|| Know that, through Krishna, the Lord, Har, Har, the dance of creation dances. ||1|| ਅਸਗਾ ਅਸ ਉਸਗਾ ॥ असगा अस उसगा ॥ Asgaa as usgaa. All that is, is His. ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਬਾਗਰਾ ਨਾਚੈ ਪਿੰਧੀ ਮਹਿ ਸਾਗਰਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ हरि का बागरा नाचै पिंधी महि सागरा ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Har kaa baagraa naachæ pinḋʰee mėh saagraa. ||1|| rahaa▫o. In this Garden of the Lord, we all dance, like water in the pots of the Persian wheel. ||1||Pause|| ਨਾਚੰਤੀ ਗੋਪੀ ਜੰਨਾ ॥ नाचंती गोपी जंना ॥ Naachanṫee gopee jannaa. Women and men both dance. ਨਈਆ ਤੇ ਬੈਰੇ ਕੰਨਾ ॥ नईआ ते बैरे कंना ॥ Na▫ee▫aa ṫé bæré kanna. There is no other than the Lord. ਤਰਕੁ ਨ ਚਾ ॥ तरकु न चा ॥ Ṫarak na chaa. don’t dispute this, ਭ੍ਰਮੀਆ ਚਾ ॥ भ्रमीआ चा ॥ Bʰarmee▫aa chaa. and don’t doubt this. ਕੇਸਵਾ ਬਚਉਨੀ ਅਈਏ ਮਈਏ ਏਕ ਆਨ ਜੀਉ ॥੨॥ केसवा बचउनी अईए मईए एक आन जीउ ॥२॥ Késvaa bach▫unee a▫ee▫é ma▫ee▫é ék aan jee▫o. ||2|| The Lord says, “This creation and I are one and the same”. ||2|| ਭ੍ਰਮਿ ਭ੍ਰਮਿ ਆਏ ਤੁਮ ਚੇ ਦੁਆਰਾ ॥ भ्रमि भ्रमि आए तुम चे दुआरा ॥ Bʰaram bʰaram aa▫é ṫum ché ḋu▫aaraa. Wandering and roaming around, I have come at last to Your Door. ਨਾਮਾ ॥ नामा ॥ Naamaa. Namdev. ਮੈ ਜੀ ॥ मै जी ॥ Mæ jee. Sir! I am ਤੂ ਕੁਨੁ ਰੇ ॥ तू कुनु रे ॥ Ṫoo kun ré. Who are you? ਪਿੰਧੀ ਉਭਕਲੇ ਸੰਸਾਰਾ ॥ पिंधी उभकले संसारा ॥ Pinḋʰee ubʰkalé sansaaraa. Like the pots on the Persian wheel, sometimes the world is high, and sometimes it is low. ਹੋ ਜੀ ॥ हो जी ॥ Ho jee. O Lord! ਆਲਾ ਤੇ ਨਿਵਾਰਣਾ ਜਮ ਕਾਰਣਾ ॥੩॥੪॥ आला ते निवारणा जम कारणा ॥३॥४॥ Aalaa ṫé nivaarṇaa jam kaarṇaa. ||3||4|| Please save me from Maya, the cause of death. ||3||4||
