By The Grace Of The True Guru: ਰਾਗੁ ਸੂਹੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ਘਰੁ ੩ रागु सूही महला ५ घरु ३ Raag soohee mėhlaa 5 gʰar 3 Raag Soohee, Fifth Mehl, Third House: ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਉਧਰੁ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਗਰ ॥੧॥ करि किरपा उधरु हरि नागर ॥१॥ Kar kirpaa uḋʰar har naagar. ||1|| By Your Grace, O Sublime Lord, please save me from it. ||1|| ਮਿਥਨ ਮੋਹ ਅਗਨਿ ਸੋਕ ਸਾਗਰ ॥ मिथन मोह अगनि सोक सागर ॥ Miṫʰan moh agan sok saagar. Attachment to sex is an ocean of fire and pain. ਚਰਣ ਕਮਲ ਸਰਣਾਇ ਨਰਾਇਣ ॥ चरण कमल सरणाइ नराइण ॥ Charaṇ kamal sarṇaa▫é naraa▫iṇ. I seek the Sanctuary of the Lotus Feet of the Lord. ਦੀਨਾ ਨਾਥ ਭਗਤ ਪਰਾਇਣ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ दीना नाथ भगत पराइण ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Ḋeenaa naaṫʰ bʰagaṫ paraa▫iṇ. ||1|| rahaa▫o. He is the Master of the meek, the Support of His devotees. ||1||Pause|| ਅਨਾਥਾ ਨਾਥ ਭਗਤ ਭੈ ਮੇਟਨ ॥ अनाथा नाथ भगत भै मेटन ॥ Anaaṫʰaa naaṫʰ bʰagaṫ bʰæ métan. Master of the masterless, Patron of the forlorn, Eradicator of fear of His devotees. ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਜਮਦੂਤ ਨ ਭੇਟਨ ॥੨॥ साधसंगि जमदूत न भेटन ॥२॥ Saaḋʰsang jamḋooṫ na bʰétan. ||2|| In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, the Messenger of Death cannot even touch them. ||2|| ਜੀਵਨ ਰੂਪ ਅਨੂਪ ਦਇਆਲਾ ॥ जीवन रूप अनूप दइआला ॥ Jeevan roop anoop ḋa▫i▫aalaa. The Merciful, Incomparably Beautiful, Embodiment of Life. ਰਵਣ ਗੁਣਾ ਕਟੀਐ ਜਮ ਜਾਲਾ ॥੩॥ रवण गुणा कटीऐ जम जाला ॥३॥ Ravaṇ guṇaa katee▫æ jam jaalaa. ||3|| Vibrating the Glorious Virtues of the Lord, the noose of the Messenger of Death is cut away. ||3|| ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਸਨ ਨਿਤ ਜਾਪੈ ॥ अमृत नामु रसन नित जापै ॥ Amriṫ naam rasan niṫ jaapæ. One who constantly chants the Ambrosial Nectar of the Naam with his tongue, ਜਪਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸੰਗੀ ਸਭਿ ਤਾਰੇ ॥ जपि गोबिंद संगी सभि तारे ॥ Jap gobinḋ sangee sabʰ ṫaaré. Chant and meditate on God, the Lord of the Universe, and all of your companions shall be carried across; ਪੋਹਤ ਨਾਹੀ ਪੰਚ ਬਟਵਾਰੇ ॥੫॥ पोहत नाही पंच बटवारे ॥५॥ Pohaṫ naahee panch batvaaré. ||5|| the five thieves will not even approach. ||5|| ਰੋਗ ਰੂਪ ਮਾਇਆ ਨ ਬਿਆਪੈ ॥੪॥ रोग रूप माइआ न बिआपै ॥४॥ Rog roop maa▫i▫aa na bi▫aapæ. ||4|| is not touched or affected by Maya, the embodiment of disease. ||4|| ਮਨ ਬਚ ਕ੍ਰਮ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਏਕੁ ਧਿਆਏ ॥ मन बच क्रम प्रभु एकु धिआए ॥ Man bach karam parabʰ ék ḋʰi▫aa▫é. One who meditates on the One God in thought, word and deed - ਸਰਬ ਫਲਾ ਸੋਈ ਜਨੁ ਪਾਏ ॥੬॥ सरब फला सोई जनु पाए ॥६॥ Sarab falaa so▫ee jan paa▫é. ||6|| that humble being receives the fruits of all rewards. ||6|| ਧਾਰਿ ਅਨੁਗ੍ਰਹੁ ਅਪਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਕੀਨਾ ॥ धारि अनुग्रहु अपना प्रभि कीना ॥ Ḋʰaar anoograhu apnaa parabʰ keenaa. Showering His Mercy, God has made me His own; ਕੇਵਲ ਨਾਮੁ ਭਗਤਿ ਰਸੁ ਦੀਨਾ ॥੭॥ केवल नामु भगति रसु दीना ॥७॥ Kéval naam bʰagaṫ ras ḋeenaa. ||7|| He has blessed me with the unique and singular Naam, and the sublime essence of devotion. ||7|| ਆਦਿ ਮਧਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੋਈ ॥ आदि मधि अंति प्रभु सोई ॥ Aaḋ maḋʰ anṫ parabʰ so▫ee. In the beginning, in the middle, and in the end, He is God. ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਸੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਈ ॥੮॥੧॥੨॥ नानक तिसु बिनु अवरु न कोई ॥८॥१॥२॥ Naanak ṫis bin avar na ko▫ee. ||8||1||2|| O Nanak!
