ਹਰਿ ਹਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਰਮੁਖੇ ਪਾਏ ਰਾਮ ॥ हरि हरे हरि गुण गावहु हरि गुरमुखे पाए राम ॥ Har haré har guṇ gaavhu har gurmukʰé paa▫é raam. Sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, Har, Har, Har; the Gurmukh obtains the Lord. ਸੂਹੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੩ ॥ सूही महला ३ ॥ Soohee mėhlaa 3. Soohee, Third Mehl: ਅਨਹਦ ਸਬਦ ਵਜਾਏ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਘਰਿ ਆਏ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਹੁ ਨਾਰੀ ॥ अनहद सबद वजाए हरि जीउ घरि आए हरि गुण गावहु नारी ॥ Anhaḋ sabaḋ vajaa▫é har jee▫o gʰar aa▫é har guṇ gaavhu naaree. The unstruck melody of the Shabad vibrates, and the Dear Lord comes into the home of my heart; O ladies, sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord. ਅਨਦਿਨੋ ਸਬਦਿ ਰਵਹੁ ਅਨਹਦ ਸਬਦ ਵਜਾਏ ਰਾਮ ॥ अनदिनो सबदि रवहु अनहद सबद वजाए राम ॥ Anḋino sabaḋ ravhu anhaḋ sabaḋ vajaa▫é raam. Night and day, chant the Word of the Shabad; night and day, the Shabad shall vibrate and resound. ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਭਗਤਿ ਕਰਹਿ ਗੁਰ ਆਗੈ ਸਾ ਧਨ ਕੰਤ ਪਿਆਰੀ ॥ अनदिनु भगति करहि गुर आगै सा धन कंत पिआरी ॥ An▫ḋin bʰagaṫ karahi gur aagæ saa ḋʰan kanṫ pi▫aaree. That soul-bride, who performs devotional worship service to the Guru night and day, becomes the Beloved bride of her Lord. ਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਵਸਿਆ ਘਟ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਸੇ ਜਨ ਸਬਦਿ ਸੁਹਾਏ ॥ गुर का सबदु वसिआ घट अंतरि से जन सबदि सुहाए ॥ Gur kaa sabaḋ vasi▫aa gʰat anṫar sé jan sabaḋ suhaa▫é. Those humble beings, whose hearts are filled with the Word of the Guru’s Shabad, are adorned with the Shabad. ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਨ ਘਰਿ ਸਦ ਹੀ ਸੋਹਿਲਾ ਹਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਘਰਿ ਆਏ ॥੧॥ नानक तिन घरि सद ही सोहिला हरि करि किरपा घरि आए ॥१॥ Naanak ṫin gʰar saḋ hee sohilaa har kar kirpaa gʰar aa▫é. ||1|| O Nanak! Their hearts are forever filled with happiness; the Lord, in His Mercy, enters into their hearts. ||1|| ਭਗਤਾ ਮਨਿ ਆਨੰਦੁ ਭਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਰਹੇ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਏ ਰਾਮ ॥ भगता मनि आनंदु भइआ हरि नामि रहे लिव लाए राम ॥ Bʰagṫaa man aananḋ bʰa▫i▫aa har naam rahé liv laa▫é raam. The minds of the devotees are filled with bliss; they remain lovingly absorbed in the Lord’s Name. ਗੁਰਮੁਖੇ ਮਨੁ ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਹੋਆ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਏ ਰਾਮ ॥ गुरमुखे मनु निरमलु होआ निरमल हरि गुण गाए राम ॥ Gurmukʰé man nirmal ho▫aa nirmal har guṇ gaa▫é raam. The mind of the Gurmukh is immaculate and pure; she sings the Immaculate Praises of the Lord. ਨਿਰਮਲ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਏ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੰਨਿ ਵਸਾਏ ਹਰਿ ਕੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਬਾਣੀ ॥ निरमल गुण गाए नामु मंनि वसाए हरि की अमृत बाणी ॥ Nirmal guṇ gaa▫é naam man vasaa▫é har kee amriṫ baṇee. Singing His Immaculate Praises, she enshrines in her mind the Naam, the Name of the Lord, and the Ambrosial Word of His Bani. ਜਿਨੑ ਮਨਿ ਵਸਿਆ ਸੇਈ ਜਨ ਨਿਸਤਰੇ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਸਬਦਿ ਸਮਾਣੀ ॥ जिन्ह मनि वसिआ सेई जन निसतरे घटि घटि सबदि समाणी ॥ Jinĥ man vasi▫aa sé▫ee jan nisṫaré gʰat gʰat sabaḋ samaaṇee. Those humble beings, within whose minds it abides, are emancipated; the Shabad permeates each and every heart. ਨਾਨਕ ਸਫਲ ਜਨਮੁ ਤਿਨ ਕੇਰਾ ਜਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਮਾਰਗਿ ਪਾਏ ॥੨॥ नानक सफल जनमु तिन केरा जि सतिगुरि हरि मारगि पाए ॥२॥ Naanak safal janam ṫin kéraa jė saṫgur har maarag paa▫é. ||2|| O Nanak! Their lives are fruitful; the True Guru places them on the Lord’s Path. ||2|| ਤੇਰੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਹਿ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਵਹਿ ਸਬਦੇ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਏ ॥ तेरे गुण गावहि सहजि समावहि सबदे मेलि मिलाए ॥ Ṫéré guṇ gaavahi sahj samaavėh sabḋé mél milaa▫é. Singing Your Glorious Praises, they merge naturally into You, O Lord; through the Shabad, they are united in Union with You. ਸੰਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਸਿਉ ਮੇਲੁ ਭਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਏ ਰਾਮ ॥ संतसंगति सिउ मेलु भइआ हरि हरि नामि समाए राम ॥ Sanṫsangaṫ si▫o mél bʰa▫i▫aa har har naam samaa▫é raam. Those who join the Society of the Saints are absorbed in the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਸਦ ਜੀਵਨ ਮੁਕਤ ਭਏ ਹਰਿ ਕੈ ਨਾਮਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਏ ਰਾਮ ॥ गुर कै सबदि सद जीवन मुकत भए हरि कै नामि लिव लाए राम ॥ Gur kæ sabaḋ saḋ jeevan mukaṫ bʰa▫é har kæ naam liv laa▫é raam. Through the Word of the Guru’s Shabad, they are forever ‘Jivan Mukta’ - liberated while still alive; they are lovingly absorbed in the Name of the Lord. ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਏ ਗੁਰਿ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਏ ਮਨੂਆ ਰਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਲੇ ॥ हरि नामि चितु लाए गुरि मेलि मिलाए मनूआ रता हरि नाले ॥ Har naam chiṫ laa▫é gur mél milaa▫é manoo▫aa raṫaa har naalé. They center their consciousness on the Lord’s Name; through the Guru, they are united in His Union. Their minds are imbued with the Lord’s Love. ਸੁਖਦਾਤਾ ਪਾਇਆ ਮੋਹੁ ਚੁਕਾਇਆ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਮੑਾਲੇ ॥ सुखदाता पाइआ मोहु चुकाइआ अनदिनु नामु सम्हाले ॥ Sukʰ▫ḋaaṫa paa▫i▫aa moh chukaa▫i▫aa an▫ḋin naam samĥaalé. They find the Lord, the Giver of peace, and they eradicate attachments; night and day, they contemplate the Naam. ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੇ ਰਾਤਾ ਸਹਜੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਨਿ ਵਸਾਏ ॥ गुर सबदे राता सहजे माता नामु मनि वसाए ॥ Gur sabḋé raaṫaa sėhjé maaṫaa naam man vasaa▫é. They are imbued with the Word of the Guru’s Shabad, and intoxicated with celestial peace; the Naam abides in their minds. ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਨ ਘਰਿ ਸਦ ਹੀ ਸੋਹਿਲਾ ਜਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸੇਵਿ ਸਮਾਏ ॥੩॥ नानक तिन घरि सद ही सोहिला जि सतिगुर सेवि समाए ॥३॥ Naanak ṫin gʰar saḋ hee sohilaa jė saṫgur sév samaa▫é. ||3|| O Nanak! The homes of their hearts are filled with happiness, forever and always; they are absorbed in serving the True Guru. ||3|| ਬਿਨੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਜਗੁ ਭਰਮਿ ਭੁਲਾਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਮਹਲੁ ਨ ਪਾਇਆ ਰਾਮ ॥ बिनु सतिगुर जगु भरमि भुलाइआ हरि का महलु न पाइआ राम ॥ Bin saṫgur jag bʰaram bʰulaa▫i▫aa har kaa mahal na paa▫i▫aa raam. Without the True Guru, the world is deluded by doubt; it does not obtain the Mansion of the Lord’s Presence. ਗੁਰਮੁਖੇ ਇਕਿ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਇਆ ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਦੂਖ ਗਵਾਇਆ ਰਾਮ ॥ गुरमुखे इकि मेलि मिलाइआ तिन के दूख गवाइआ राम ॥ Gurmukʰé ik mél milaa▫i▫aa ṫin ké ḋookʰ gavaa▫i▫aa raam. As Gurmukh, some are united in the Lord’s Union, and their pains are dispelled. ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਦੂਖ ਗਵਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਹਰਿ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਇਆ ਸਦਾ ਗਾਵਹਿ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤੇ ॥ तिन के दूख गवाइआ जा हरि मनि भाइआ सदा गावहि रंगि राते ॥ Ṫin ké ḋookʰ gavaa▫i▫aa jaa har man bʰaa▫i▫aa saḋaa gaavahi rang raaṫé. Their pains are dispelled, when it is pleasing to the Lord’s Mind; imbued with His Love, they sing His Praises forever. ਸਾਚੀ ਭਗਤਿ ਕਰਹਿ ਦਰਿ ਜਾਪਹਿ ਘਰਿ ਦਰਿ ਸਚਾ ਸੋਈ ॥ साची भगति करहि दरि जापहि घरि दरि सचा सोई ॥ Saachee bʰagaṫ karahi ḋar jaapėh gʰar ḋar sachaa so▫ee. They perform true devotional worship service, and are honored in the Lord’s Court; the True Lord is their hearth and home. ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਭਗਤ ਸਦਾ ਜਨ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਜੁਗਿ ਜੁਗਿ ਸਦ ਹੀ ਜਾਤੇ ॥ हरि के भगत सदा जन निरमल जुगि जुगि सद ही जाते ॥ Har ké bʰagaṫ saḋaa jan nirmal jug jug saḋ hee jaaṫé. The Lord’s devotees are pure and humble forever; throughout the ages, they are forever respected. ਨਾਨਕ ਸਚਾ ਸੋਹਿਲਾ ਸਚੀ ਸਚੁ ਬਾਣੀ ਸਬਦੇ ਹੀ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਈ ॥੪॥੪॥੫॥ नानक सचा सोहिला सची सचु बाणी सबदे ही सुखु होई ॥४॥४॥५॥ Naanak sachaa sohilaa sachee sach baṇee sabḋé hee sukʰ ho▫ee. ||4||4||5|| O Nanak! True are their songs of joy, and true is their word; through the Word of the Shabad, they find peace. ||4||4||5||
