ਦਾਤੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸੰਦੀਆ ਕਿਆ ਚਲੇ ਤਿਸੁ ਨਾਲਿ ॥ दाती साहिब संदीआ किआ चले तिसु नालि ॥ Ḋaaṫee saahib sanḋee▫aa ki▫aa chalæ ṫis naal. The gifts belong to our Lord and Master; how can we compete with Him? ਸਲੋਕ ਮਃ ੧ ॥ सलोक मः १ ॥ Salok mėhlaa 1. Shalok, First Mehl: ਇਕ ਜਾਗੰਦੇ ਨਾ ਲਹੰਨਿ ਇਕਨਾ ਸੁਤਿਆ ਦੇਇ ਉਠਾਲਿ ॥੧॥ इक जागंदे ना लहंनि इकना सुतिआ देइ उठालि ॥१॥ Ik jaaganḋé naa lahann iknaa suṫi▫aa ḋé▫é utʰaal. ||1|| Some remain awake and aware, and do not receive these gifts, while others are awakened from their sleep to be blessed. ||1||
