ਗੋਂਡ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ गोंड महला ५ ॥ Gond mėhlaa 5. Gond, Fifth Mehl: ਜਾ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਇਹੁ ਮਨੁ ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ॥ जा कै संगि इहु मनु निरमलु ॥ Jaa kæ sang ih man nirmal. Associating with them, this mind becomes immaculate and pure. ਜਾ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਨੁ ॥ जा कै संगि हरि हरि सिमरनु ॥ Jaa kæ sang har har simran. Associating with them, one meditates in remembrance of the Lord, Har, Har. ਜਾ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਕਿਲਬਿਖ ਹੋਹਿ ਨਾਸ ॥ जा कै संगि किलबिख होहि नास ॥ Jaa kæ sang kilbikʰ hohi naas. Associating with them, all the sins are erased. ਜਾ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਰਿਦੈ ਪਰਗਾਸ ॥੧॥ जा कै संगि रिदै परगास ॥१॥ Jaa kæ sang riḋæ pargaas. ||1|| Associating with them, the heart is illuminated. ||1|| ਸੇ ਸੰਤਨ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੀਤ ॥ से संतन हरि के मेरे मीत ॥ Sé sanṫan har ké méré meeṫ. Those Saints of the Lord are my friends. ਕੇਵਲ ਨਾਮੁ ਗਾਈਐ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਨੀਤ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ केवल नामु गाईऐ जा कै नीत ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Kéval naam gaa▫ee▫æ jaa kæ neeṫ. ||1|| rahaa▫o. It is their custom to sing only the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||1||Pause|| ਜਾ ਕੈ ਮੰਤ੍ਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੈ ॥ जा कै मंत्रि हरि हरि मनि वसै ॥ Jaa kæ manṫar har har man vasæ. By their mantra, the Lord, Har, Har, dwells in the mind. ਜਾ ਕੈ ਉਪਦੇਸਿ ਭਰਮੁ ਭਉ ਨਸੈ ॥ जा कै उपदेसि भरमु भउ नसै ॥ Jaa kæ upḋés bʰaram bʰa▫o nasæ. By their teachings, doubt and fear are dispelled. ਜਾ ਕੈ ਕੀਰਤਿ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਸਾਰ ॥ जा कै कीरति निरमल सार ॥ Jaa kæ keeraṫ nirmal saar. By their kirtan, they become immaculate and sublime. ਕੋਟਿ ਪਤਿਤ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਉਧਾਰ ॥ कोटि पतित जा कै संगि उधार ॥ Kot paṫiṫ jaa kæ sang uḋʰaar. Millions of sinners are saved by associating with them. ਏਕੁ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰੁ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਨਾਮ ਅਧਾਰ ॥ एकु निरंकारु जा कै नाम अधार ॥ Ék nirankaar jaa kæ naam aḋʰaar. They have the Support of the Name of the One Formless Lord. ਜਾ ਕੀ ਰੇਨੁ ਬਾਂਛੈ ਸੰਸਾਰ ॥੨॥ जा की रेनु बांछै संसार ॥२॥ Jaa kee rén baaⁿchʰæ sansaar. ||2|| The world longs for the dust of their feet. ||2|| ਸਰਬ ਜੀਆਂ ਕਾ ਜਾਨੈ ਭੇਉ ॥ सरब जीआं का जानै भेउ ॥ Sarab jee▫aaⁿ kaa jaanæ bʰé▫o. He knows the secrets of all beings; ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਦੇਉ ॥੩॥ क्रिपा निधान निरंजन देउ ॥३॥ Kirpaa niḋʰaan niranjan ḋé▫o. ||3|| He is the treasure of mercy, the divine immaculate Lord. ||3|| ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਜਬ ਭਏ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲ ॥ पारब्रहम जब भए क्रिपाल ॥ Paarbarahm jab bʰa▫é kirpaal. When the Supreme Lord God becomes merciful, ਤਬ ਭੇਟੇ ਗੁਰ ਸਾਧ ਦਇਆਲ ॥ तब भेटे गुर साध दइआल ॥ Ṫab bʰété gur saaḋʰ ḋa▫i▫aal. then one meets the Merciful Holy Guru. ਦਿਨੁ ਰੈਣਿ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਏ ॥ दिनु रैणि नानकु नामु धिआए ॥ Ḋin ræṇ Naanak naam ḋʰi▫aa▫é. Day and night, Nanak meditates on the Naam. ਸੂਖ ਸਹਜ ਆਨੰਦ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਏ ॥੪॥੪॥੬॥ सूख सहज आनंद हरि नाए ॥४॥४॥६॥ Sookʰ sahj aananḋ har naa▫é. ||4||4||6|| Through the Lord’s Name, he is blessed with peace, poise and bliss. ||4||4||6||
