ਰਾਖਨਹਾਰ ਦਇਆਲ ॥ राखनहार दइआल ॥ Raakʰanhaar ḋa▫i▫aal. The Savior Lord is merciful. ਕੋਟਿ ਭਵ ਖੰਡੇ ਨਿਮਖ ਖਿਆਲ ॥ कोटि भव खंडे निमख खिआल ॥ Kot bʰav kʰandé nimakʰ kʰi▫aal. Millions of incarnations are eradicated in an instant, contemplating the Lord. ਰਾਮਕਲੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ रामकली महला ५ ॥ Raamkalee mėhlaa 5. Raamkalee, Fifth Mehl: ਸਗਲ ਅਰਾਧਹਿ ਜੰਤ ॥ सगल अराधहि जंत ॥ Sagal araaḋʰėh janṫ. All beings worship and adore Him. ਮਿਲੀਐ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਮੰਤ ॥੧॥ मिलीऐ प्रभ गुर मिलि मंत ॥१॥ Milee▫æ parabʰ gur mil manṫ. ||1|| Receiving the Guru’s Mantra, one meets God. ||1|| ਜੀਅਨ ਕੋ ਦਾਤਾ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ॥ जीअन को दाता मेरा प्रभु ॥ Jee▫an ko ḋaaṫaa méraa parabʰ. My God is the Giver of souls. ਪੂਰਨ ਪਰਮੇਸੁਰ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਰਾਤਾ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ पूरन परमेसुर सुआमी घटि घटि राता मेरा प्रभु ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Pooran parmésur su▫aamee gʰat gʰat raaṫaa méraa parabʰ. ||1|| rahaa▫o. The Perfect Transcendent Lord Master, my God, imbues each and every heart. ||1||Pause|| ਤਾ ਕੀ ਗਹੀ ਮਨ ਓਟ ॥ ता की गही मन ओट ॥ Ṫaa kee gahee man ot. My mind has grasped His Support. ਬੰਧਨ ਤੇ ਹੋਈ ਛੋਟ ॥ बंधन ते होई छोट ॥ Banḋʰan ṫé ho▫ee chʰot. My bonds have been shattered. ਮਨ ਮਾਹਿ ਭਏ ਅਨੰਦ ॥੨॥ मन माहि भए अनंद ॥२॥ Man maahi bʰa▫é anand. ||2|| My mind is filled with ecstasy. ||2|| ਜੀਵਨ ਰੂਪ ਹਰਿ ਚਰਣ ॥ जीवन रूप हरि चरण ॥ Jeevan roop har charaṇ. The Lord’s Feet are the embodiment of life itself. ਤਾਰਣ ਤਰਣ ਹਰਿ ਸਰਣ ॥ तारण तरण हरि सरण ॥ Ṫaaraṇ ṫaraṇ har saraṇ. The Lord’s Sanctuary is the boat to carry us across. ਹਿਰਦੈ ਜਪਿ ਪਰਮਾਨੰਦ ॥ हिरदै जपि परमानंद ॥ Hirḋæ jap parmaananḋ. Within my heart, I meditate on the Lord, the embodiment of supreme bliss. ਸੰਤਨ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਅਧਾਰ ॥ संतन के प्राण अधार ॥ Sanṫan ké paraaṇ aḋʰaar. They are the Support of the breath of life of the Saints. ਊਚੇ ਤੇ ਊਚ ਅਪਾਰ ॥੩॥ ऊचे ते ऊच अपार ॥३॥ Ooché ṫé ooch apaar. ||3|| God is infinite, the highest of the high. ||3|| ਸੁ ਮਤਿ ਸਾਰੁ ਜਿਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰੀਜੈ ॥ सु मति सारु जितु हरि सिमरीजै ॥ So maṫ saar jiṫ har simreejæ. That mind is excellent and sublime, which meditates in remembrance of the Lord. ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਜਿਸੁ ਆਪੇ ਦੀਜੈ ॥ करि किरपा जिसु आपे दीजै ॥ Kar kirpaa jis aapé ḋeejæ. In His Mercy, the Lord Himself bestows it. ਸੂਖ ਸਹਜ ਆਨੰਦ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਉ ॥ सूख सहज आनंद हरि नाउ ॥ Sookʰ sahj aananḋ har naa▫o. Peace, intuitive poise and bliss are found in the Lord’s Name. ਨਾਨਕ ਜਪਿਆ ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਨਾਉ ॥੪॥੨੭॥੩੮॥ नानक जपिआ गुर मिलि नाउ ॥४॥२७॥३८॥ Naanak japi▫aa gur mil naa▫o. ||4||27||38|| Meeting with the Guru, Nanak chants the Name. ||4||27||38|| ਸਗਲ ਸਿਆਨਪ ਛਾਡਿ ॥ सगल सिआनप छाडि ॥ Sagal si▫aanap chʰaad. Abandon all your clever tricks. ਅਪਨਾ ਆਪੁ ਸਗਲ ਮਿਟਾਇ ॥ अपना आपु सगल मिटाइ ॥ Apnaa aap sagal mitaa▫é. Totally erase your self-conceit. ਕਰਿ ਸੇਵਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਸਾਜਿ ॥ करि सेवा सेवक साजि ॥ Kar sévaa sévak saaj. Become His servant, and serve Him.
