ਹਉ ਢਾਢੀ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਖਸਮ ਕਾ ਹਰਿ ਕੈ ਦਰਿ ਆਇਆ ॥ हउ ढाढी हरि प्रभ खसम का हरि कै दरि आइआ ॥ Ha▫o dʰaadʰee har parabʰ kʰasam kaa har kæ ḋar aa▫i▫aa. I am a minstrel of the Lord God, my Lord and Master; I have come to the Lord’s Door. ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛee. Pauree: ਹਰਿ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਸੁਣੀ ਪੂਕਾਰ ਢਾਢੀ ਮੁਖਿ ਲਾਇਆ ॥ हरि अंदरि सुणी पूकार ढाढी मुखि लाइआ ॥ Har anḋar suṇee pookaar dʰaadʰee mukʰ laa▫i▫aa. The Lord has heard my sad cries from within; He has called me, His minstrel, into His Presence. ਹਰਿ ਪੁਛਿਆ ਢਾਢੀ ਸਦਿ ਕੈ ਕਿਤੁ ਅਰਥਿ ਤੂੰ ਆਇਆ ॥ हरि पुछिआ ढाढी सदि कै कितु अरथि तूं आइआ ॥ Har puchʰi▫aa dʰaadʰee saḋ kæ kiṫ araṫʰ ṫooⁿ aa▫i▫aa. The Lord called His minstrel in, and asked, “Why have you come here”? ਨਿਤ ਦੇਵਹੁ ਦਾਨੁ ਦਇਆਲ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥ नित देवहु दानु दइआल प्रभ हरि नामु धिआइआ ॥ Niṫ ḋévhu ḋaan ḋa▫i▫aal parabʰ har naam ḋʰi▫aa▫i▫aa. O Merciful God, please grant me the gift of continual meditation on the Lord’s Name. ਹਰਿ ਦਾਤੈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਾਇਆ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਪੈਨਾਇਆ ॥੨੧॥੧॥ ਸੁਧੁ हरि दातै हरि नामु जपाइआ नानकु पैनाइआ ॥२१॥१॥ सुधु Har ḋaaṫæ har naam japaa▫i▫aa Naanak pænaa▫i▫aa. ||21||1|| suḋʰu And so the Lord, the Great Giver, inspired Nanak to chant the Lord’s Name, and blessed him with robes of honor. ||21||1||Sudh||
