ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਸੰਤ ਮਿਲਹੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਾਈ ॥ हरि जन संत मिलहु मेरे भाई ॥ Har jan sanṫ milhu méré bʰaa▫ee. O servants of the Lord, O Saints, O my Siblings of Destiny, let us join together! ਮਾਝ ਮਹਲਾ ੪ ॥ माझ महला ४ ॥ Maajʰ mėhlaa 4. Maajh, Fourth Mehl: ਮੇਰੀ ਸਰਧਾ ਪੂਰਿ ਜਗਜੀਵਨ ਦਾਤੇ ਮਿਲਿ ਹਰਿ ਦਰਸਨਿ ਮਨੁ ਭੀਜੈ ਜੀਉ ॥੧॥ मेरी सरधा पूरि जगजीवन दाते मिलि हरि दरसनि मनु भीजै जीउ ॥१॥ Méree sarḋʰaa poor jagjeevan ḋaaṫé mil har ḋarsan man bʰeejæ jee▫o. ||1|| Please reward my faith, O Life of the World, O Great Giver. Obtaining the Blessed Vision of the Lord’s Darshan, my mind is fulfilled. ||1|| ਮੇਰਾ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਦਸਹੁ ਮੈ ਭੁਖ ਲਗਾਈ ॥ मेरा हरि प्रभु दसहु मै भुख लगाई ॥ Méraa har parabʰ ḋashu mæ bʰukʰ lagaa▫ee. Show me the way to my Lord God-I am so hungry for Him! ਮਿਲਿ ਸਤਸੰਗਿ ਬੋਲੀ ਹਰਿ ਬਾਣੀ ॥ मिलि सतसंगि बोली हरि बाणी ॥ Mil saṫsang bolee har baṇee. Joining the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation, I chant the Bani of the Lord’s Word. ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕਥਾ ਮੇਰੈ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਣੀ ॥ हरि हरि कथा मेरै मनि भाणी ॥ Har har kaṫʰaa méræ man bʰaaṇee. The Sermon of the Lord, Har, Har, is pleasing to my mind. ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਵੈ ਮਿਲਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਪੀਜੈ ਜੀਉ ॥੨॥ हरि हरि अमृतु हरि मनि भावै मिलि सतिगुर अमृतु पीजै जीउ ॥२॥ Har har amriṫ har man bʰaavæ mil saṫgur amriṫ peejæ jee▫o. ||2|| The Ambrosial Nectar of the Lord’s Name, Har, Har, is so sweet to my mind. Meeting the True Guru, I drink this Ambrosial Nectar. ||2|| ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਹਰਿ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਪਾਵਹਿ ॥ वडभागी हरि संगति पावहि ॥ vadbʰaagee har sangaṫ paavahi. By great good fortune, the Lord’s Congregation is found, ਭਾਗਹੀਨ ਭ੍ਰਮਿ ਚੋਟਾ ਖਾਵਹਿ ॥ भागहीन भ्रमि चोटा खावहि ॥ Bʰaagheen bʰaram chotaa kʰaavėh. while the unfortunate ones wander around in doubt, enduring painful beatings. ਬਿਨੁ ਭਾਗਾ ਸਤਸੰਗੁ ਨ ਲਭੈ ਬਿਨੁ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਮੈਲੁ ਭਰੀਜੈ ਜੀਉ ॥੩॥ बिनु भागा सतसंगु न लभै बिनु संगति मैलु भरीजै जीउ ॥३॥ Bin bʰaagaa saṫsang na labʰæ bin sangaṫ mæl bʰareejæ jee▫o. ||3|| Without good fortune, the Sat Sangat is not found; without this Sangat, people are stained with filth and pollution. ||3|| ਮੈ ਆਇ ਮਿਲਹੁ ਜਗਜੀਵਨ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥ मै आइ मिलहु जगजीवन पिआरे ॥ Mæ aa▫é milhu jagjeevan pi▫aaré. Come and meet me, O Life of the World, my Beloved. ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਦਇਆ ਮਨਿ ਧਾਰੇ ॥ हरि हरि नामु दइआ मनि धारे ॥ Har har naam ḋa▫i▫aa man ḋʰaaré. Please bless me with Your Mercy, and enshrine Your Name, Har, Har, within my mind. ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੀਠਾ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਇਆ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮਿ ਮਨੁ ਭੀਜੈ ਜੀਉ ॥੪॥੪॥ गुरमति नामु मीठा मनि भाइआ जन नानक नामि मनु भीजै जीउ ॥४॥४॥ Gurmaṫ naam meetʰaa man bʰaa▫i▫aa jan Naanak naam man bʰeejæ jee▫o. ||4||4|| Through the Guru’s Teachings, the Sweet Name has become pleasing to my mind. Servant Nanak’s mind is drenched and delighted with the Naam. ||4||4||
