ਜੋ ਰਤੇ ਦੀਦਾਰ ਸੇਈ ਸਚੁ ਹਾਕੁ ॥ जो रते दीदार सेई सचु हाकु ॥ Jo raṫé ḋeeḋaar sé▫ee sach haak. Those who are imbued with the Lord’s Vision, speak the Truth. ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛee. Pauree: ਜਿਨੀ ਜਾਤਾ ਖਸਮੁ ਕਿਉ ਲਭੈ ਤਿਨਾ ਖਾਕੁ ॥ जिनी जाता खसमु किउ लभै तिना खाकु ॥ Jinee jaaṫaa kʰasam ki▫o labʰæ ṫinaa kʰaak. How can I obtain the dust of those who realize their Lord and Master? ਮਨੁ ਮੈਲਾ ਵੇਕਾਰੁ ਹੋਵੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਪਾਕੁ ॥ मनु मैला वेकारु होवै संगि पाकु ॥ Man mælaa vékaar hovæ sang paak. The mind, stained by corruption, becomes pure by associating with them. ਦਿਸੈ ਸਚਾ ਮਹਲੁ ਖੁਲੈ ਭਰਮ ਤਾਕੁ ॥ दिसै सचा महलु खुलै भरम ताकु ॥ Ḋisæ sachaa mahal kʰulæ bʰaram ṫaak. One sees the Mansion of the Lord’s Presence, when the door of doubt is opened. ਜਿਸਹਿ ਦਿਖਾਲੇ ਮਹਲੁ ਤਿਸੁ ਨ ਮਿਲੈ ਧਾਕੁ ॥ जिसहि दिखाले महलु तिसु न मिलै धाकु ॥ Jisahi ḋikʰaalé mahal ṫis na milæ ḋʰaak. That one, unto whom the Mansion of the Lord’s Presence is revealed, is never pushed or shoved. ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਹੋਇ ਨਿਹਾਲੁ ਬਿੰਦਕ ਨਦਰਿ ਝਾਕੁ ॥ मनु तनु होइ निहालु बिंदक नदरि झाकु ॥ Man ṫan ho▫é nihaal binḋak naḋar jʰaak. My mind and body are enraptured, when the Lord blesses me, even for an instant, with His Glance of Grace. ਨਉ ਨਿਧਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਲਾਗੁ ॥ नउ निधि नामु निधानु गुर कै सबदि लागु ॥ Na▫o niḋʰ naam niḋʰaan gur kæ sabaḋ laag. The nine treasures, and the treasure of the Naam are obtained by commitment to the Word of the Guru’s Shabad. ਤਿਸੈ ਮਿਲੈ ਸੰਤ ਖਾਕੁ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਜਿਸੈ ਭਾਗੁ ॥੫॥ तिसै मिलै संत खाकु मसतकि जिसै भागु ॥५॥ Ṫisæ milæ sanṫ kʰaak masṫak jisæ bʰaag. ||5|| He alone is blessed with the dust of the feet of the Saints, upon whose forehead such preordained destiny is inscribed. ||5||
