Profoundly Deep, Infinite Lord of the Universe, ਨਿਰਭਉ ਨਿਰਵੈਰ ਅਥਾਹ ਅਤੋਲੇ ॥ निरभउ निरवैर अथाह अतोले ॥ Nirbʰa▫o nirvær aṫʰaah aṫolé. Fearless, free of hate, Unfathomable, Immeasurable, ਅਕਾਲ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਅਜੂਨੀ ਸੰਭੌ ਮਨ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਠੰਢਾ ਥੀਵਾਂ ਜੀਉ ॥੨॥ अकाल मूरति अजूनी स्मभौ मन सिमरत ठंढा थीवां जीउ ॥२॥ Akaal mooraṫ ajoonee sambʰou man simraṫ tʰandʰaa ṫʰeevaaⁿ jee▫o. ||2|| of Undying Form, Unborn, Self-illuminated: remembering You in meditation, my mind is filled with a deep and profound peace. ||2|| ਦੁਖ ਭੰਜਨ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਅਮੋਲੇ ॥ दुख भंजन निधान अमोले ॥ Ḋukʰ bʰanjan niḋʰaan amolé. O Destroyer of pain, Priceless Treasure, ਸਦਾ ਸੰਗੀ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗ ਗੋਪਾਲਾ ॥ सदा संगी हरि रंग गोपाला ॥ Saḋaa sangee har rang gopaalaa. The Joyous Lord, the Sustainer of the World, is my constant Companion. ਊਚ ਨੀਚ ਕਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲਾ ॥ ऊच नीच करे प्रतिपाला ॥ Ooch neech karé parṫipaalaa. He cherishes the high and the low. ਨਾਮੁ ਰਸਾਇਣੁ ਮਨੁ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਾਇਣੁ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਪੀਵਾਂ ਜੀਉ ॥੩॥ नामु रसाइणु मनु त्रिपताइणु गुरमुखि अमृतु पीवां जीउ ॥३॥ Naam rasaa▫iṇ man ṫaripṫaa▫iṇ gurmukʰ amriṫ peevaaⁿ jee▫o. ||3|| The Nectar of the Name satisfies my mind. As Gurmukh, I drink the Ambrosial Nectar. ||3|| ਦੁਖਿ ਸੁਖਿ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਤੁਧੁ ਧਿਆਈ ॥ दुखि सुखि पिआरे तुधु धिआई ॥ Ḋukʰ sukʰ pi▫aaré ṫuḋʰ ḋʰi▫aa▫ee. In suffering and in comfort, I meditate on You, O Beloved. ਏਹ ਸੁਮਤਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇ ਪਾਈ ॥ एह सुमति गुरू ते पाई ॥ Éh sumaṫ guroo ṫé paa▫ee. I have obtained this sublime understanding from the Guru. ਨਾਨਕ ਕੀ ਧਰ ਤੂੰਹੈ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗਿ ਪਾਰਿ ਪਰੀਵਾਂ ਜੀਉ ॥੪॥੯॥੧੬॥ नानक की धर तूंहै ठाकुर हरि रंगि पारि परीवां जीउ ॥४॥९॥१६॥ Naanak kee ḋʰar ṫooⁿhæ tʰaakur har rang paar pareevaaⁿ jee▫o. ||4||9||16|| You are Nanak’s Support, O my Lord and Master; through Your Love, I swim across to the other side. ||4||9||16||
