ਇਨ ਬਿਧਿ ਹਰਿ ਮਿਲੀਐ ਵਰ ਕਾਮਨਿ ਧਨ ਸੋਹਾਗੁ ਪਿਆਰੀ ॥
इन बिधि हरि मिलीऐ वर कामनि धन सोहागु पिआरी ॥
In biḋʰ har milee▫æ var kaaman ḋʰan sohaag pi▫aaree.
This is the way to meet your Husband Lord. Blessed is the soul-bride who is loved by her Husband Lord.

ਜਾਤਿ ਬਰਨ ਕੁਲ ਸਹਸਾ ਚੂਕਾ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਸਬਦਿ ਬੀਚਾਰੀ ॥੧॥
जाति बरन कुल सहसा चूका गुरमति सबदि बीचारी ॥१॥
Jaaṫ baran kul sahsaa chookaa gurmaṫ sabaḋ beechaaree. ||1||
Social class and status, race, ancestry and skepticism are eliminated, following the Guru’s Teachings and contemplating the Word of the Shabad. ||1||

ਜਿਸੁ ਮਨੁ ਮਾਨੈ ਅਭਿਮਾਨੁ ਨ ਤਾ ਕਉ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਲੋਭੁ ਵਿਸਾਰੇ ॥
जिसु मनु मानै अभिमानु न ता कउ हिंसा लोभु विसारे ॥
Jis man maanæ abʰimaan na ṫaa ka▫o hinsaa lobʰ visaaré.
One whose mind is pleased and appeased, has no egotistical pride. Violence and greed are forgotten.

ਸਹਜਿ ਰਵੈ ਵਰੁ ਕਾਮਣਿ ਪਿਰ ਕੀ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਰੰਗਿ ਸਵਾਰੇ ॥੨॥
सहजि रवै वरु कामणि पिर की गुरमुखि रंगि सवारे ॥२॥
Sahj ravæ var kaamaṇ pir kee gurmukʰ rang savaaré. ||2||
The soul-bride intuitively ravishes and enjoys her Husband Lord; as Gurmukh, she is embellished by His Love. ||2||

ਜਾਰਉ ਐਸੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਕੁਟੰਬ ਸਨਬੰਧੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਮੋਹ ਪਸਾਰੀ ॥
जारउ ऐसी प्रीति कुट्मब सनबंधी माइआ मोह पसारी ॥
Jaara▫o æsee pareeṫ kutamb sanbanḋʰee maa▫i▫aa moh pasaaree.
Burn away any love of family and relatives, which increases your attachment to Maya.

ਜਿਸੁ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਰਾਮ ਰਸੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਕਰਮ ਬਿਕਾਰੀ ॥੩॥
जिसु अंतरि प्रीति राम रसु नाही दुबिधा करम बिकारी ॥३॥
Jis anṫar pareeṫ raam ras naahee ḋubiḋʰaa karam bikaaree. ||3||
One who does not savor the Lord’s Love deep within, lives in duality and corruption. ||3||

ਅੰਤਰਿ ਰਤਨ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਹਿਤ ਕੌ ਦੁਰੈ ਨ ਲਾਲ ਪਿਆਰੀ ॥
अंतरि रतन पदारथ हित कौ दुरै न लाल पिआरी ॥
Anṫar raṫan paḋaaraṫʰ hiṫ kou ḋuræ na laal pi▫aaree.
His Love is a priceless jewel deep within my being; the Lover of my Beloved is not hidden.

ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਮੋਲਕੁ ਜੁਗਿ ਜੁਗਿ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਧਾਰੀ ॥੪॥੩॥
नानक गुरमुखि नामु अमोलकु जुगि जुगि अंतरि धारी ॥४॥३॥
Naanak gurmukʰ naam amolak jug jug anṫar ḋʰaaree. ||4||3||
O Nanak! As Gurmukh, enshrine the Priceless Naam deep within your being, all the ages through. ||4||3||

ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਕੀ ਹਮ ਧੂਰਿ ॥
हरि के संत जना की हम धूरि ॥
Har ké sanṫ janaa kee ham ḋʰoor.
I am the dust of the feet of the humble Saints of the Lord.

ਮਿਲਿ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਪਰਮ ਪਦੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਆਤਮ ਰਾਮੁ ਰਹਿਆ ਭਰਪੂਰਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
मिलि सतसंगति परम पदु पाइआ आतम रामु रहिआ भरपूरि ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Mil saṫsangaṫ param paḋ paa▫i▫aa aaṫam raam rahi▫aa bʰarpoor. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
Joining the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation, I have obtained the supreme-status. The Lord, the Supreme Soul, is all-pervading everywhere. ||1||Pause||

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸੰਤੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਸਾਂਤਿ ਪਾਈਐ ਕਿਲਵਿਖ ਦੁਖ ਕਾਟੇ ਸਭਿ ਦੂਰਿ ॥
सतिगुरु संतु मिलै सांति पाईऐ किलविख दुख काटे सभि दूरि ॥
Saṫgur sanṫ milæ saaⁿṫ paa▫ee▫æ kilvikʰ ḋukʰ kaaté sabʰ ḋoor.
Meeting the Saintly True Guru, I have found peace and tranquility. Sins and painful mistakes are totally erased and taken away.

ਆਤਮ ਜੋਤਿ ਭਈ ਪਰਫੂਲਿਤ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨਿਰੰਜਨੁ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਹਜੂਰਿ ॥੧॥
आतम जोति भई परफूलित पुरखु निरंजनु देखिआ हजूरि ॥१॥
Aaṫam joṫ bʰa▫ee parfooliṫ purakʰ niranjan ḋékʰi▫aa hajoor. ||1||
The Divine Light of the soul radiates forth, gazing upon the Presence of the Immaculate Lord God. ||1||

ਵਡੈ ਭਾਗਿ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਪਾਈ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਹਿਆ ਭਰਪੂਰਿ ॥
वडै भागि सतसंगति पाई हरि हरि नामु रहिआ भरपूरि ॥
vadæ bʰaag saṫsangaṫ paa▫ee har har naam rahi▫aa bʰarpoor.
By great good fortune, I have found the Sat Sangat; the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, is all-pervading everywhere.

ਅਠਸਠਿ ਤੀਰਥ ਮਜਨੁ ਕੀਆ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਪਗ ਨਾਏ ਧੂਰਿ ॥੨॥
अठसठि तीरथ मजनु कीआ सतसंगति पग नाए धूरि ॥२॥
Atʰsatʰ ṫiraṫʰ majan kee▫aa saṫsangaṫ pag naa▫é ḋʰoor. ||2||
I have taken my cleansing bath at the sixty-eight sacred shrines of pilgrimage, bathing in the dust of the feet of the True Congregation. ||2||

ਦੁਰਮਤਿ ਬਿਕਾਰ ਮਲੀਨ ਮਤਿ ਹੋਛੀ ਹਿਰਦਾ ਕੁਸੁਧੁ ਲਾਗਾ ਮੋਹ ਕੂਰੁ ॥
दुरमति बिकार मलीन मति होछी हिरदा कुसुधु लागा मोह कूरु ॥
Ḋurmaṫ bikaar maleen maṫ hochʰee hirḋaa kusuḋʰ laagaa moh koor.
Evil-minded and corrupt, filthy-minded and shallow, with impure heart, attached to enticement and falsehood.

ਬਿਨੁ ਕਰਮਾ ਕਿਉ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਪਾਈਐ ਹਉਮੈ ਬਿਆਪਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਮਨੁ ਝੂਰਿ ॥੩॥
बिनु करमा किउ संगति पाईऐ हउमै बिआपि रहिआ मनु झूरि ॥३॥
Bin karmaa ki▫o sangaṫ paa▫ee▫æ ha▫umæ bi▫aap rahi▫aa man jʰoor. ||3||
Without good karma, how can I find the Sangat? Engrossed in egotism, the mortal remains stuck in regret. ||3||

ਹੋਹੁ ਦਇਆਲ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਜੀ ਮਾਗਉ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਪਗ ਧੂਰਿ ॥
होहु दइआल क्रिपा करि हरि जी मागउ सतसंगति पग धूरि ॥
Hohu ḋa▫i▫aal kirpaa kar har jee maaga▫o saṫsangaṫ pag ḋʰoor.
Be kind and show Your Mercy, O Dear Lord; I beg for the dust of the feet of the Sat Sangat.

ਨਾਨਕ ਸੰਤੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਈਐ ਜਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਭੇਟਿਆ ਰਾਮੁ ਹਜੂਰਿ ॥੪॥੧॥
नानक संतु मिलै हरि पाईऐ जनु हरि भेटिआ रामु हजूरि ॥४॥१॥
Naanak sanṫ milæ har paa▫ee▫æ jan har bʰéti▫aa raam hajoor. ||4||1||
O Nanak! Meeting with the Saints, the Lord is attained. The Lord’s humble servant obtains the Presence of the Lord. ||4||1||

ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਚਰਨਨ ਕਉ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ॥
गोबिंद चरनन कउ बलिहारी ॥
Gobinḋ charnan ka▫o balihaaree.
I am a sacrifice to the Feet of the Lord of the Universe.

ਭਵਜਲੁ ਜਗਤੁ ਨ ਜਾਈ ਤਰਣਾ ਜਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਰਿ ਉਤਾਰੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
भवजलु जगतु न जाई तरणा जपि हरि हरि पारि उतारी ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Bʰavjal jagaṫ na jaa▫ee ṫarṇaa jap har har paar uṫaaree. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
I cannot swim across the terrifying world ocean. But chanting the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, I am carried across. ||1||Pause||

ਹਿਰਦੈ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤਿ ਬਨੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੇਰੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਬੀਚਾਰੀ ॥
हिरदै प्रतीति बनी प्रभ केरी सेवा सुरति बीचारी ॥
Hirḋæ parṫeeṫ banee parabʰ kéree sévaa suraṫ beechaaree.
Faith in God came to fill my heart; I serve Him intuitively, and contemplate Him.

ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਿ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਸਰਬ ਕਲਾ ਗੁਣਕਾਰੀ ॥੧॥
अनदिनु राम नामु जपि हिरदै सरब कला गुणकारी ॥१॥
An▫ḋin raam naam jap hirḋæ sarab kalaa guṇkaaree. ||1||
Night and day, I chant the Lord’s Name within my heart; it is all-powerful and virtuous. ||1||

ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅਗਮ ਅਗੋਚਰੁ ਰਵਿਆ ਸ੍ਰਬ ਠਾਈ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਅਲਖ ਅਪਾਰੀ ॥
प्रभु अगम अगोचरु रविआ स्रब ठाई मनि तनि अलख अपारी ॥
Parabʰ agam agochar ravi▫aa sarab tʰaa▫ee man ṫan alakʰ apaaree.
God is Inaccessible and Unfathomable, All-pervading everywhere, in all minds and bodies; He is Infinite and Invisible.

ਗੁਰ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ ਭਏ ਤਬ ਪਾਇਆ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਅਲਖੁ ਲਖਾਰੀ ॥੨॥
गुर किरपाल भए तब पाइआ हिरदै अलखु लखारी ॥२॥
Gur kirpaal bʰa▫é ṫab paa▫i▫aa hirḋæ alakʰ lakʰaaree. ||2||
When the Guru becomes merciful, then the Unseen Lord is seen within the heart. ||2||

ਅੰਤਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਰਬ ਧਰਣੀਧਰ ਸਾਕਤ ਕਉ ਦੂਰਿ ਭਇਆ ਅਹੰਕਾਰੀ ॥
अंतरि हरि नामु सरब धरणीधर साकत कउ दूरि भइआ अहंकारी ॥
Anṫar har naam sarab ḋʰarṇeeḋʰar saakaṫ ka▫o ḋoor bʰa▫i▫aa ahaⁿkaaree.
Deep within the inner being is the Name of the Lord, the Support of the entire earth, but to the egotistical shaakta, the faithless cynic, He seems far away.

ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਜਲਤ ਨ ਕਬਹੂ ਬੂਝਹਿ ਜੂਐ ਬਾਜੀ ਹਾਰੀ ॥੩॥
त्रिसना जलत न कबहू बूझहि जूऐ बाजी हारी ॥३॥
Ṫarisnaa jalaṫ na kabhoo boojʰėh joo▫æ baajee haaree. ||3||
His burning desire is never quenched, and he loses the game of life in the gamble. ||3||
|
ਊਠਤ ਬੈਠਤ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵਹਿ ਗੁਰਿ ਕਿੰਚਤ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰੀ ॥
ऊठत बैठत हरि गुन गावहि गुरि किंचत किरपा धारी ॥
Ootʰaṫ bætʰaṫ har gun gaavahi gur kichanṫ kirpaa ḋʰaaree.
Standing up and sitting down, the mortal sings the Glorious Praises of the Lord, when the Guru bestows even a tiny bit of His Grace.

ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਨ ਕਉ ਨਦਰਿ ਭਈ ਹੈ ਤਿਨ ਕੀ ਪੈਜ ਸਵਾਰੀ ॥੪॥੨॥
नानक जिन कउ नदरि भई है तिन की पैज सवारी ॥४॥२॥
Naanak jin ka▫o naḋar bʰa▫ee hæ ṫin kee pæj savaaree. ||4||2||
O Nanak! Those who are blessed by His Glance of Grace - He saves and protects their honor. ||4||2||
