ਤੂੰ ਸਮਰਥੁ ਤੂੰਹੈ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ॥
तूं समरथु तूंहै मेरा सुआमी ॥
Ṫooⁿ samraṫʰ ṫooⁿhæ méraa su▫aamee.
You are All-powerful, You are my Lord and Master.

ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਤੁਮ ਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ॥੧॥
सभु किछु तुम ते तूं अंतरजामी ॥१॥
Sabʰ kichʰ ṫum ṫé ṫooⁿ anṫarjaamee. ||1||
Everything comes from You; You are the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts. ||1||
|
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਪੂਰਨ ਜਨ ਓਟ ॥
पारब्रहम पूरन जन ओट ॥
Paarbarahm pooran jan ot.
The Perfect Supreme Lord God is the Support of His humble servant.
|
ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਣਿ ਉਧਰਹਿ ਜਨ ਕੋਟਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
तेरी सरणि उधरहि जन कोटि ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Ṫéree saraṇ uḋʰrahi jan kot. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
Millions are saved in Your Sanctuary. ||1||Pause||
|
ਜੇਤੇ ਜੀਅ ਤੇਤੇ ਸਭਿ ਤੇਰੇ ॥
जेते जीअ तेते सभि तेरे ॥
Jéṫé jee▫a ṫéṫé sabʰ ṫéré.
As many creatures as there are - they are all Yours.
|
ਤੁਮਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਤੇ ਸੂਖ ਘਨੇਰੇ ॥੨॥
तुमरी क्रिपा ते सूख घनेरे ॥२॥
Ṫumree kirpaa ṫé sookʰ gʰanéré. ||2||
By Your Grace, all sorts of comforts are obtained. ||2||
|
ਜੋ ਕਿਛੁ ਵਰਤੈ ਸਭ ਤੇਰਾ ਭਾਣਾ ॥
जो किछु वरतै सभ तेरा भाणा ॥
Jo kichʰ varṫæ sabʰ ṫéraa bʰaaṇaa.
Whatever happens, is all according to Your Will.
|
ਹੁਕਮੁ ਬੂਝੈ ਸੋ ਸਚਿ ਸਮਾਣਾ ॥੩॥
हुकमु बूझै सो सचि समाणा ॥३॥
Hukam boojʰæ so sach samaaṇaa. ||3||
One who understands the Hukam of the Lord’s Command, is absorbed in the True Lord. ||3||
|
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਦੀਜੈ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਦਾਨੁ ॥
करि किरपा दीजै प्रभ दानु ॥
Kar kirpaa ḋeejæ parabʰ ḋaan.
Please grant Your Grace, God, and bestow this gift
|
ਨਾਨਕ ਸਿਮਰੈ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ॥੪॥੬੬॥੧੩੫॥
नानक सिमरै नामु निधानु ॥४॥६६॥१३५॥
Naanak simræ naam niḋʰaan. ||4||66||135||
upon Nanak, that he may meditate on the treasure of the Naam. ||4||66||135||

ਤਾ ਕਾ ਦਰਸੁ ਪਾਈਐ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ॥
ता का दरसु पाईऐ वडभागी ॥
Ṫaa kaa ḋaras paa▫ee▫æ vadbʰaagee.
By great good fortune, the Blessed Vision of His Darshan is obtained,
|
ਜਾ ਕੀ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਗੀ ॥੧॥
जा की राम नामि लिव लागी ॥१॥
Jaa kee raam naam liv laagee. ||1||
by those who are lovingly absorbed in the Lord’s Name. ||1||
|
ਜਾ ਕੈ ਹਰਿ ਵਸਿਆ ਮਨ ਮਾਹੀ ॥
जा कै हरि वसिआ मन माही ॥
Jaa kæ har vasi▫aa man maahee.
Those whose minds are filled with the Lord,
|
ਤਾ ਕਉ ਦੁਖੁ ਸੁਪਨੈ ਭੀ ਨਾਹੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ता कउ दुखु सुपनै भी नाही ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Ṫaa ka▫o ḋukʰ supnæ bʰee naahee. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
do not suffer pain, even in dreams. ||1||Pause||
|
ਸਰਬ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਰਾਖੇ ਜਨ ਮਾਹਿ ॥
सरब निधान राखे जन माहि ॥
Sarab niḋʰaan raakʰé jan maahi.
All treasures have been placed within the minds of His humble servants.
|
ਤਾ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਕਿਲਵਿਖ ਦੁਖ ਜਾਹਿ ॥੨॥
ता कै संगि किलविख दुख जाहि ॥२॥
Ṫaa kæ sang kilvikʰ ḋukʰ jaahi. ||2||
In their company, sinful mistakes and sorrows are taken away. ||2||
|
ਜਨ ਕੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਕਥੀ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥
जन की महिमा कथी न जाइ ॥
Jan kee mahimaa kaṫʰee na jaa▫é.
The Glories of the Lord’s humble servants cannot be described.
|
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਜਨੁ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਮਾਇ ॥੩॥
पारब्रहमु जनु रहिआ समाइ ॥३॥
Paarbarahm jan rahi▫aa samaa▫é. ||3||
The servants of the Supreme Lord God remain absorbed in Him. ||3||
|
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਬਿਨਉ ਸੁਨੀਜੈ ॥
करि किरपा प्रभ बिनउ सुनीजै ॥
Kar kirpaa parabʰ bin▫o suneejæ.
Grant Your Grace, God, and hear my prayer:

ਦਾਸ ਕੀ ਧੂਰਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਉ ਦੀਜੈ ॥੪॥੬੭॥੧੩੬॥
दास की धूरि नानक कउ दीजै ॥४॥६७॥१३६॥
Ḋaas kee ḋʰoor Naanak ka▫o ḋeejæ. ||4||67||136||
please bless Nanak with the dust of the feet of Your slave. ||4||67||136||

ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਤੇਰੀ ਜਾਇ ਬਲਾਇ ॥
हरि सिमरत तेरी जाइ बलाइ ॥
Har simraṫ ṫéree jaa▫é balaa▫é.
Remembering the Lord in meditation, your misfortune shall be taken away,
|
ਸਰਬ ਕਲਿਆਣ ਵਸੈ ਮਨਿ ਆਇ ॥੧॥
सरब कलिआण वसै मनि आइ ॥१॥
Sarab kali▫aaṇ vasæ man aa▫é. ||1||
and all joy shall come to abide in your mind. ||1||
|
ਭਜੁ ਮਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਏਕੋ ਨਾਮ ॥
भजु मन मेरे एको नाम ॥
Bʰaj man méré éko naam.
Meditate, O my mind! On the One Name.
|
ਜੀਅ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੈ ਆਵੈ ਕਾਮ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
जीअ तेरे कै आवै काम ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Jee▫a ṫéré kæ aavæ kaam. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
It alone shall be of use to your soul. ||1||Pause||
|
ਰੈਣਿ ਦਿਨਸੁ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਉ ਅਨੰਤਾ ॥
रैणि दिनसु गुण गाउ अनंता ॥
Ræṇ ḋinas guṇ gaa▫o ananṫaa.
Night and day, sing the Glorious Praises of the Infinite Lord,
|
ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਕਾ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਮੰਤਾ ॥੨॥
गुर पूरे का निरमल मंता ॥२॥
Gur pooré kaa nirmal mannṫaa. ||2||
through the Pure Mantra of the Perfect Guru. ||2||
|
ਛੋਡਿ ਉਪਾਵ ਏਕ ਟੇਕ ਰਾਖੁ ॥
छोडि उपाव एक टेक राखु ॥
Chʰod upaav ék ték raakʰ.
Give up other efforts, and place your faith in the Support of the One Lord.
|
ਮਹਾ ਪਦਾਰਥੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਰਸੁ ਚਾਖੁ ॥੩॥
महा पदारथु अमृत रसु चाखु ॥३॥
Mahaa paḋaaraṫʰ amriṫ ras chaakʰ. ||3||
Taste the Ambrosial Essence of this, the greatest treasure. ||3||
|
ਬਿਖਮ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਤੇਈ ਜਨ ਤਰੇ ॥
बिखम सागरु तेई जन तरे ॥
Bikʰam saagar ṫé▫ee jan ṫaré.
They alone cross over the treacherous world-ocean,
|
ਨਾਨਕ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਨਦਰਿ ਕਰੇ ॥੪॥੬੮॥੧੩੭॥
नानक जा कउ नदरि करे ॥४॥६८॥१३७॥
Naanak jaa ka▫o naḋar karé. ||4||68||137||
O Nanak! Upon whom the Lord casts His Glance of Grace. ||4||68||137||

ਹਿਰਦੈ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਧਾਰੇ ॥
हिरदै चरन कमल प्रभ धारे ॥
Hirḋæ charan kamal parabʰ ḋʰaaré.
I have enshrined the Lotus Feet of God within my heart.
|
ਪੂਰੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਨਿਸਤਾਰੇ ॥੧॥
पूरे सतिगुर मिलि निसतारे ॥१॥
Pooré saṫgur mil nisṫaaré. ||1||
Meeting the Perfect True Guru, I am emancipated. ||1||
|
ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਹੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਾਈ ॥
गोविंद गुण गावहु मेरे भाई ॥
Govinḋ guṇ gaavhu méré bʰaa▫ee.
Sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord of the Universe, O my Siblings of Destiny.
|
ਮਿਲਿ ਸਾਧੂ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
मिलि साधू हरि नामु धिआई ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Mil saaḋʰoo har naam ḋʰi▫aa▫ee. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
Joining the Holy Saints, meditate on the Lord’s Name. ||1||Pause||
|
ਦੁਲਭ ਦੇਹ ਹੋਈ ਪਰਵਾਨੁ ॥
दुलभ देह होई परवानु ॥
Ḋulabʰ ḋéh ho▫ee parvaan.
This human body, so difficult to obtain, is redeemed
|
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਪਾਇਆ ਨਾਮ ਨੀਸਾਨੁ ॥੨॥
सतिगुर ते पाइआ नाम नीसानु ॥२॥
Saṫgur ṫé paa▫i▫aa naam neesaan. ||2||
when one receives the banner of the Naam from the True Guru. ||2||
|
ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਪੂਰਨ ਪਦੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
हरि सिमरत पूरन पदु पाइआ ॥
Har simraṫ pooran paḋ paa▫i▫aa.
Meditating in remembrance of the Lord, the state of perfection is attained.
|
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਭੈ ਭਰਮ ਮਿਟਾਇਆ ॥੩॥
साधसंगि भै भरम मिटाइआ ॥३॥
Saaḋʰsang bʰæ bʰaram mitaa▫i▫aa. ||3||
In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, fear and doubt depart. ||3||
|
ਜਤ ਕਤ ਦੇਖਉ ਤਤ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਮਾਇ ॥
जत कत देखउ तत रहिआ समाइ ॥
Jaṫ kaṫ ḋékʰ▫a▫u ṫaṫ rahi▫aa samaa▫é.
Wherever I look, there I see the Lord pervading.
|
ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸ ਹਰਿ ਕੀ ਸਰਣਾਇ ॥੪॥੬੯॥੧੩੮॥
नानक दास हरि की सरणाइ ॥४॥६९॥१३८॥
Naanak ḋaas har kee sarṇaa▫é. ||4||69||138||
Slave Nanak has entered the Lord’s Sanctuary. ||4||69||138||

ਗੁਰ ਜੀ ਕੇ ਦਰਸਨ ਕਉ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਉ ॥
गुर जी के दरसन कउ बलि जाउ ॥
Gur jee ké ḋarsan ka▫o bal jaa▫o.
I am a sacrifice to the Blessed Vision of the Guru’s Darshan.

ਜਪਿ ਜਪਿ ਜੀਵਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਨਾਉ ॥੧॥
जपि जपि जीवा सतिगुर नाउ ॥१॥
Jap jap jeevaa saṫgur naa▫o. ||1||
Chanting and meditating on the Name of the True Guru, I live. ||1||
|
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਪੂਰਨ ਗੁਰਦੇਵ ॥
पारब्रहम पूरन गुरदेव ॥
Paarbarahm pooran gurḋév.
O Supreme Lord God, O Perfect Divine Guru,
|
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਲਾਗਉ ਤੇਰੀ ਸੇਵ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
करि किरपा लागउ तेरी सेव ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Kar kirpaa laaga▫o ṫéree sév. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
show mercy to me, and commit me to Your service. ||1||Pause||
|
ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਉਰ ਧਾਰੀ ॥
चरन कमल हिरदै उर धारी ॥
Charan kamal hirḋæ ur ḋʰaaree.
I enshrine His Lotus Feet within my heart.
|
ਮਨ ਤਨ ਧਨ ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਅਧਾਰੀ ॥੨॥
मन तन धन गुर प्रान अधारी ॥२॥
Man ṫan ḋʰan gur paraan aḋʰaaree. ||2||
I offer my mind, body and wealth to the Guru, the Support of the breath of life. ||2||
|
ਸਫਲ ਜਨਮੁ ਹੋਵੈ ਪਰਵਾਣੁ ॥
सफल जनमु होवै परवाणु ॥
Safal janam hovæ parvaaṇ.
My life is prosperous, fruitful and approved;
|
ਗੁਰੁ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਨਿਕਟਿ ਕਰਿ ਜਾਣੁ ॥੩॥
गुरु पारब्रहमु निकटि करि जाणु ॥३॥
Gur paarbarahm nikat kar jaaṇ. ||3||
I know that the Guru, the Supreme Lord God, is near me. ||3||
|
ਸੰਤ ਧੂਰਿ ਪਾਈਐ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ॥
संत धूरि पाईऐ वडभागी ॥
Sanṫ ḋʰoor paa▫ee▫æ vadbʰaagee.
By great good fortune, I have obtained the dust of the feet of the Saints.
|
ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰ ਭੇਟਤ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਉ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਗੀ ॥੪॥੭੦॥੧੩੯॥
नानक गुर भेटत हरि सिउ लिव लागी ॥४॥७०॥१३९॥
Naanak gur bʰétaṫ har si▫o liv laagee. ||4||70||139||
O Nanak! Meeting the Guru, I have fallen in love with the Lord. ||4||70||139||
