ਮੇਰਾ ਤੇਰਾ ਛੋਡੀਐ ਭਾਈ ਹੋਈਐ ਸਭ ਕੀ ਧੂਰਿ ॥
मेरा तेरा छोडीऐ भाई होईऐ सभ की धूरि ॥
Méraa ṫéraa chʰodee▫æ bʰaa▫ee ho▫ee▫æ sabʰ kee ḋʰoor.
Give up your sense of mine and yours, O Siblings of Destiny, and become the dust of the feet of all.

ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਪਸਾਰਿਆ ਭਾਈ ਪੇਖੈ ਸੁਣੈ ਹਜੂਰਿ ॥
घटि घटि ब्रहमु पसारिआ भाई पेखै सुणै हजूरि ॥
Gʰat gʰat barahm pasaari▫aa bʰaa▫ee pékʰæ suṇæ hajoor.
In each and every heart, God is contained, O Siblings of Destiny; He sees, and hears, and is ever-present with us.

ਜਿਤੁ ਦਿਨਿ ਵਿਸਰੈ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਭਾਈ ਤਿਤੁ ਦਿਨਿ ਮਰੀਐ ਝੂਰਿ ॥
जितु दिनि विसरै पारब्रहमु भाई तितु दिनि मरीऐ झूरि ॥
Jiṫ ḋin visræ paarbarahm bʰaa▫ee ṫiṫ ḋin maree▫æ jʰoor.
On that day when one forgets the Supreme Lord God, O Siblings of Destiny, on that day, one ought to die crying out in pain.

ਕਰਨ ਕਰਾਵਨ ਸਮਰਥੋ ਭਾਈ ਸਰਬ ਕਲਾ ਭਰਪੂਰਿ ॥੪॥
करन करावन समरथो भाई सरब कला भरपूरि ॥४॥
Karan karaavan samraṫʰo bʰaa▫ee sarab kalaa bʰarpoor. ||4||
He is the all-powerful Cause of all causes, O Siblings of Destiny; he is totally filled with all powers. ||4||

ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਪਦਾਰਥੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਹੈ ਭਾਈ ਮਾਇਆ ਮੋਹ ਬਿਨਾਸੁ ॥
प्रेम पदारथु नामु है भाई माइआ मोह बिनासु ॥
Parém paḋaaraṫʰ naam hæ bʰaa▫ee maa▫i▫aa moh binaas.
The Love of the Name is the greatest treasure, O Siblings of Destiny; through it, emotional attachment to Maya is dispelled.

ਤਿਸੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਾ ਮੇਲਿ ਲਏ ਭਾਈ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਨਾਮ ਨਿਵਾਸੁ ॥
तिसु भावै ता मेलि लए भाई हिरदै नाम निवासु ॥
Ṫis bʰaavæ ṫaa mél la▫é bʰaa▫ee hirḋæ naam nivaas.
If it is pleasing to His Will, then He unites us in His Union, O Siblings of Destiny; the Naam, the Name of the Lord, comes to abide in the mind.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਕਮਲੁ ਪ੍ਰਗਾਸੀਐ ਭਾਈ ਰਿਦੈ ਹੋਵੈ ਪਰਗਾਸੁ ॥
गुरमुखि कमलु प्रगासीऐ भाई रिदै होवै परगासु ॥
Gurmukʰ kamal pargaasee▫æ bʰaa▫ee riḋæ hovæ pargaas.
The heart-lotus of the Gurmukh blossoms forth, O Siblings of Destiny, and the heart is illuminated.

ਪ੍ਰਗਟੁ ਭਇਆ ਪਰਤਾਪੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਾਈ ਮਉਲਿਆ ਧਰਤਿ ਅਕਾਸੁ ॥੫॥
प्रगटु भइआ परतापु प्रभ भाई मउलिआ धरति अकासु ॥५॥
Pargat bʰa▫i▫aa parṫaap parabʰ bʰaa▫ee ma▫oli▫aa ḋʰaraṫ akaas. ||5||
The Glory of God has been revealed, O Siblings of Destiny, and the earth and sky have blossomed forth. ||5||

ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਸੰਤੋਖਿਆ ਭਾਈ ਅਹਿਨਿਸਿ ਲਾਗਾ ਭਾਉ ॥
गुरि पूरै संतोखिआ भाई अहिनिसि लागा भाउ ॥
Gur pooræ sanṫokʰi▫aa bʰaa▫ee ahinis laagaa bʰaa▫o.
The Perfect Guru has blessed me with contentment, O Siblings of Destiny; day and night, I remain attached to the Lord’s Love.

ਰਸਨਾ ਰਾਮੁ ਰਵੈ ਸਦਾ ਭਾਈ ਸਾਚਾ ਸਾਦੁ ਸੁਆਉ ॥
रसना रामु रवै सदा भाई साचा सादु सुआउ ॥
Rasnaa raam ravæ saḋaa bʰaa▫ee saachaa saaḋ su▫aa▫o.
My tongue continually chants the Lord’s Name, O Siblings of Destiny; this is the true taste, and the object of human life.

ਕਰਨੀ ਸੁਣਿ ਸੁਣਿ ਜੀਵਿਆ ਭਾਈ ਨਿਹਚਲੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਥਾਉ ॥
करनी सुणि सुणि जीविआ भाई निहचलु पाइआ थाउ ॥
Karnee suṇ suṇ jeevi▫aa bʰaa▫ee nihchal paa▫i▫aa ṫʰaa▫o.
Listening with my ears, I hear and so I live, O Siblings of Destiny; I have obtained the unchanging, unmoving state.

ਜਿਸੁ ਪਰਤੀਤਿ ਨ ਆਵਈ ਭਾਈ ਸੋ ਜੀਅੜਾ ਜਲਿ ਜਾਉ ॥੬॥
जिसु परतीति न आवई भाई सो जीअड़ा जलि जाउ ॥६॥
Jis parṫeeṫ na aavee bʰaa▫ee so jee▫aṛaa jal jaa▫o. ||6||
That soul, which does not place its faith in the Lord shall burn, O Siblings of Destiny. ||6||
|
ਬਹੁ ਗੁਣ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਿਬੈ ਭਾਈ ਹਉ ਤਿਸ ਕੈ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਉ ॥
बहु गुण मेरे साहिबै भाई हउ तिस कै बलि जाउ ॥
Baho guṇ méré saahibæ bʰaa▫ee ha▫o ṫis kæ bal jaa▫o.
My Lord and Master has so many virtues, O Siblings of Destiny; I am a sacrifice to Him.

ਓਹੁ ਨਿਰਗੁਣੀਆਰੇ ਪਾਲਦਾ ਭਾਈ ਦੇਇ ਨਿਥਾਵੇ ਥਾਉ ॥
ओहु निरगुणीआरे पालदा भाई देइ निथावे थाउ ॥
Oh nirguṇee▫aaré paalḋaa bʰaa▫ee ḋé▫é niṫʰaavé ṫʰaa▫o.
He nurtures even the most worthless, O Siblings of Destiny, and gives home to the homeless.

ਰਿਜਕੁ ਸੰਬਾਹੇ ਸਾਸਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਭਾਈ ਗੂੜਾ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਨਾਉ ॥
रिजकु स्मबाहे सासि सासि भाई गूड़ा जा का नाउ ॥
Rijak sambaahé saas saas bʰaa▫ee gooṛaa jaa kaa naa▫o.
He gives us nourishment with each and every breath, O Siblings of Destiny; His Name is everlasting.

ਜਿਸੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਸਾਚਾ ਭੇਟੀਐ ਭਾਈ ਪੂਰਾ ਤਿਸੁ ਕਰਮਾਉ ॥੭॥
जिसु गुरु साचा भेटीऐ भाई पूरा तिसु करमाउ ॥७॥
Jis gur saachaa bʰétee▫æ bʰaa▫ee pooraa ṫis karmaa▫o. ||7||
One who meets with the True Guru, O Siblings of Destiny, does so only by perfect destiny. ||7||

ਤਿਸੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਘੜੀ ਨ ਜੀਵੀਐ ਭਾਈ ਸਰਬ ਕਲਾ ਭਰਪੂਰਿ ॥
तिसु बिनु घड़ी न जीवीऐ भाई सरब कला भरपूरि ॥
Ṫis bin gʰaṛee na jeevee▫æ bʰaa▫ee sarab kalaa bʰarpoor.
Without Him, I cannot live, even for an instant, O Siblings of Destiny; He is totally filled with all powers.

ਸਾਸਿ ਗਿਰਾਸਿ ਨ ਵਿਸਰੈ ਭਾਈ ਪੇਖਉ ਸਦਾ ਹਜੂਰਿ ॥
सासि गिरासि न विसरै भाई पेखउ सदा हजूरि ॥
Saas giraas na visræ bʰaa▫ee pékʰa▫o saḋaa hajoor.
With every breath and morsel of food, I will not forget Him, O Siblings of Destiny; I behold Him ever-present.

ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗਿ ਮਿਲਾਇਆ ਭਾਈ ਸਰਬ ਰਹਿਆ ਭਰਪੂਰਿ ॥
साधू संगि मिलाइआ भाई सरब रहिआ भरपूरि ॥
Saaḋʰoo sang milaa▫i▫aa bʰaa▫ee sarab rahi▫aa bʰarpoor.
In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, I meet Him, O Siblings of Destiny; He is totally pervading and permeating everywhere.

ਜਿਨਾ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਨ ਲਗੀਆ ਭਾਈ ਸੇ ਨਿਤ ਨਿਤ ਮਰਦੇ ਝੂਰਿ ॥੮॥
जिना प्रीति न लगीआ भाई से नित नित मरदे झूरि ॥८॥
Jinaa pareeṫ na lagee▫aa bʰaa▫ee sé niṫ niṫ marḋé jʰoor. ||8||
Those who do not embrace love for the Lord, O Siblings of Destiny, always die crying out in pain. ||8||

ਅੰਚਲਿ ਲਾਇ ਤਰਾਇਆ ਭਾਈ ਭਉਜਲੁ ਦੁਖੁ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ॥
अंचलि लाइ तराइआ भाई भउजलु दुखु संसारु ॥
Anchal laa▫é ṫaraa▫i▫aa bʰaa▫ee bʰa▫ojal ḋukʰ sansaar.
Grasping hold of the hem of His robe, O Siblings of Destiny, we are carried across the world-ocean of fear and pain.

ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਦਰਿ ਨਿਹਾਲਿਆ ਭਾਈ ਕੀਤੋਨੁ ਅੰਗੁ ਅਪਾਰੁ ॥
करि किरपा नदरि निहालिआ भाई कीतोनु अंगु अपारु ॥
Kar kirpaa naḋar nihaali▫aa bʰaa▫ee keeṫon ang apaar.
By His Glance of Grace, He has blessed us, O Siblings of Destiny; He shall be with us until the very end.

ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਸੀਤਲੁ ਹੋਇਆ ਭਾਈ ਭੋਜਨੁ ਨਾਮ ਅਧਾਰੁ ॥
मनु तनु सीतलु होइआ भाई भोजनु नाम अधारु ॥
Man ṫan seeṫal ho▫i▫aa bʰaa▫ee bʰojan naam aḋʰaar.
My mind and body are soothed and calmed, O Siblings of Destiny, nourished by the food of the Naam.

ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਸੁ ਸਰਣਾਗਤੀ ਭਾਈ ਜਿ ਕਿਲਬਿਖ ਕਾਟਣਹਾਰੁ ॥੯॥੧॥
नानक तिसु सरणागती भाई जि किलबिख काटणहारु ॥९॥१॥
Naanak ṫis sarṇaagaṫee bʰaa▫ee jė kilbikʰ kaataṇhaar. ||9||1||
Nanak has entered His Sanctuary, O Siblings of Destiny; the Lord is the Destroyer of sins. ||9||1||

ਮਾਤ ਗਰਭ ਦੁਖ ਸਾਗਰੋ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਤਹ ਅਪਣਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਾਇਆ ॥
मात गरभ दुख सागरो पिआरे तह अपणा नामु जपाइआ ॥
Maaṫ garabʰ ḋukʰ saagro pi▫aaré ṫah apṇaa naam japaa▫i▫aa.
The womb of the mother is an ocean of pain, O Beloved; even there, the Lord causes His Name to be chanted.

ਬਾਹਰਿ ਕਾਢਿ ਬਿਖੁ ਪਸਰੀਆ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਮਾਇਆ ਮੋਹੁ ਵਧਾਇਆ ॥
बाहरि काढि बिखु पसरीआ पिआरे माइआ मोहु वधाइआ ॥
Baahar kaadʰ bikʰ pasree▫aa pi▫aaré maa▫i▫aa moh vaḋʰaa▫i▫aa.
When he emerges, he finds corruption pervading everywhere, O Beloved, and he becomes increasingly attached to Maya.

ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਕੀਤੋ ਕਰਮੁ ਆਪਿ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਤਿਸੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲਾਇਆ ॥
जिस नो कीतो करमु आपि पिआरे तिसु पूरा गुरू मिलाइआ ॥
Jis no keeṫo karam aap pi▫aaré ṫis pooraa guroo milaa▫i▫aa.
One whom the Lord blesses with His kind favor, O Beloved, meets the Perfect Guru.

ਸੋ ਆਰਾਧੇ ਸਾਸਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਇਆ ॥੧॥
सो आराधे सासि सासि पिआरे राम नाम लिव लाइआ ॥१॥
So aaraaḋʰé saas saas pi▫aaré raam naam liv laa▫i▫aa. ||1||
He worships the Lord in adoration with each and every breath, O Beloved; he is lovingly attached to the Lord’s Name. ||1||
|
ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਤੇਰੀ ਟੇਕ ਹੈ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਤੇਰੀ ਟੇਕ ॥
मनि तनि तेरी टेक है पिआरे मनि तनि तेरी टेक ॥
Man ṫan ṫéree ték hæ pi▫aaré man ṫan ṫéree ték.
You are the support of my mind and body, O Beloved; You are the support of my mind and body.

ਤੁਧੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕਰਨਹਾਰੁ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਏਕ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
तुधु बिनु अवरु न करनहारु पिआरे अंतरजामी एक ॥ रहाउ ॥
Ṫuḋʰ bin avar na karanhaar pi▫aaré anṫarjaamee ék. Rahaa▫o.
There is no other Creator except for You, O Beloved; You alone are the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts. ||Pause||

ਕੋਟਿ ਜਨਮ ਭ੍ਰਮਿ ਆਇਆ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਅਨਿਕ ਜੋਨਿ ਦੁਖੁ ਪਾਇ ॥
कोटि जनम भ्रमि आइआ पिआरे अनिक जोनि दुखु पाइ ॥
Kot janam bʰaram aa▫i▫aa pi▫aaré anik jon ḋukʰ paa▫é.
After wandering in doubt for millions of incarnations, he comes into the world, O Beloved; for uncounted lifetimes, he has suffered in pain.

ਸਾਚਾ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਵਿਸਰਿਆ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਬਹੁਤੀ ਮਿਲੈ ਸਜਾਇ ॥
साचा साहिबु विसरिआ पिआरे बहुती मिलै सजाइ ॥
Saachaa saahib visri▫aa pi▫aaré bahuṫee milæ sajaa▫é.
He has forgotten his True Lord and Master, O Beloved, and so he suffers terrible punishment.

ਜਿਨ ਭੇਟੈ ਪੂਰਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਸੇ ਲਾਗੇ ਸਾਚੈ ਨਾਇ ॥
जिन भेटै पूरा सतिगुरू पिआरे से लागे साचै नाइ ॥
Jin bʰétæ pooraa saṫguroo pi▫aaré sé laagé saachæ naa▫é.
Those who meet with the Perfect True Guru, O Beloved, are attached to the True Name.
