ਜੋ ਮਾਗਹਿ ਸੋਈ ਸੋਈ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਸੇਵਿ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਚਰਣ ਰਸਾਇਣ ॥
जो मागहि सोई सोई पावहि सेवि हरि के चरण रसाइण ॥
Jo maagėh so▫ee so▫ee paavahi sév har ké charaṇ rasaa▫iṇ.
Whatever I ask for, I receive; I serve at the Lord’s feet, the source of nectar.

ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਦੁਹਹੂ ਤੇ ਛੂਟਹਿ ਭਵਜਲੁ ਜਗਤੁ ਤਰਾਇਣ ॥੧॥
जनम मरण दुहहू ते छूटहि भवजलु जगतु तराइण ॥१॥
Janam maraṇ ḋuhhoo ṫé chʰootėh bʰavjal jagaṫ ṫaraa▫iṇ. ||1||
I am released from the bondage of birth and death, and so I cross over the terrifying world-ocean. ||1||

ਖੋਜਤ ਖੋਜਤ ਤਤੁ ਬੀਚਾਰਿਓ ਦਾਸ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਪਰਾਇਣ ॥
खोजत खोजत ततु बीचारिओ दास गोविंद पराइण ॥
Kʰojaṫ kʰojaṫ ṫaṫ beechaari▫o ḋaas govinḋ paraa▫iṇ.
Searching and seeking, I have come to understand the essence of reality; the slave of the Lord of the Universe is dedicated to Him.

ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਖੇਮ ਚਾਹਹਿ ਜੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ॥੨॥੫॥੧੦॥
अबिनासी खेम चाहहि जे नानक सदा सिमरि नाराइण ॥२॥५॥१०॥
Abʰinaasee kʰém chaahėh jé Naanak saḋaa simar naaraa▫iṇ. ||2||5||10||
If you desire eternal bliss, O Nanak! Ever remember the Lord in meditation. ||2||5||10||

निंदकु गुर किरपा ते हाटिओ ॥
Ninḋak gur kirpaa ṫé haati▫o.
The slanderer, by Guru’s Grace, has been turned away.

ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਏ ਦਇਆਲਾ ਸਿਵ ਕੈ ਬਾਣਿ ਸਿਰੁ ਕਾਟਿਓ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
पारब्रहम प्रभ भए दइआला सिव कै बाणि सिरु काटिओ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Paarbarahm parabʰ bʰa▫é ḋa▫i▫aalaa siv kæ baaṇ sir kaati▫o. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
The Supreme Lord God has become merciful; with Shiva’s arrow, He shot his head off. ||1||Pause||

ਕਾਲੁ ਜਾਲੁ ਜਮੁ ਜੋਹਿ ਨ ਸਾਕੈ ਸਚ ਕਾ ਪੰਥਾ ਥਾਟਿਓ ॥
कालु जालु जमु जोहि न साकै सच का पंथा थाटिओ ॥
Kaal jaal jam johi na saakæ sach kaa panṫʰaa ṫʰaati▫o.
Death, and the noose of death, cannot see me; I have adopted the Path of Truth.

ਖਾਤ ਖਰਚਤ ਕਿਛੁ ਨਿਖੁਟਤ ਨਾਹੀ ਰਾਮ ਰਤਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਖਾਟਿਓ ॥੧॥
खात खरचत किछु निखुटत नाही राम रतनु धनु खाटिओ ॥१॥
Kʰaaṫ kʰarchaṫ kichʰ nikʰutaṫ naahee raam raṫan ḋʰan kʰaati▫o. ||1||
I have earned the wealth, the jewel of the Lord’s Name; eating and spending, it is never used up. ||1||

ਭਸਮਾ ਭੂਤ ਹੋਆ ਖਿਨ ਭੀਤਰਿ ਅਪਨਾ ਕੀਆ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
भसमा भूत होआ खिन भीतरि अपना कीआ पाइआ ॥
Bʰasmaa bʰooṫ ho▫aa kʰin bʰeeṫar apnaa kee▫aa paa▫i▫aa.
In an instant, the slanderer was reduced to ashes; he received the rewards of his own actions.

ਆਗਮ ਨਿਗਮੁ ਕਹੈ ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਸਭੁ ਦੇਖੈ ਲੋਕੁ ਸਬਾਇਆ ॥੨॥੬॥੧੧॥
आगम निगमु कहै जनु नानकु सभु देखै लोकु सबाइआ ॥२॥६॥११॥
Aagam nigam kahæ jan Naanak sabʰ ḋékʰæ lok sabaa▫i▫aa. ||2||6||11||
Servant Nanak speaks the truth of the scriptures; the whole world is witness to it. ||2||6||11||

ਕਿਰਪਨ ਤਨ ਮਨ ਕਿਲਵਿਖ ਭਰੇ ॥
किरपन तन मन किलविख भरे ॥
Kirpan ṫan man kilvikʰ bʰaré.
O miser, your body and mind are full of sin.

ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਭਜਨੁ ਕਰਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਢਾਕਨ ਕਉ ਇਕੁ ਹਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
साधसंगि भजनु करि सुआमी ढाकन कउ इकु हरे ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Saaḋʰsang bʰajan kar su▫aamee dʰaakan ka▫o ik haré. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, vibrate, meditate on the Lord and Master; He alone can cover your sins. ||1||Pause||

ਅਨਿਕ ਛਿਦ੍ਰ ਬੋਹਿਥ ਕੇ ਛੁਟਕਤ ਥਾਮ ਨ ਜਾਹੀ ਕਰੇ ॥
अनिक छिद्र बोहिथ के छुटकत थाम न जाही करे ॥
Anik chʰiḋar bohiṫʰ ké chʰutkaṫ ṫʰaam na jaahee karé.
When many holes appear in your boat, you cannot plug them with your hands.

ਜਿਸ ਕਾ ਬੋਹਿਥੁ ਤਿਸੁ ਆਰਾਧੇ ਖੋਟੇ ਸੰਗਿ ਖਰੇ ॥੧॥
जिस का बोहिथु तिसु आराधे खोटे संगि खरे ॥१॥
Jis kaa bohiṫʰ ṫis aaraaḋʰé kʰoté sang kʰaré. ||1||
Worship and adore the One, to whom your boat belongs; He saves the counterfeit along with the genuine. ||1||
|
ਗਲੀ ਸੈਲ ਉਠਾਵਤ ਚਾਹੈ ਓਇ ਊਹਾ ਹੀ ਹੈ ਧਰੇ ॥
गली सैल उठावत चाहै ओइ ऊहा ही है धरे ॥
Galee sæl utʰaavaṫ chaahæ o▫é oohaa hee hæ ḋʰaré.
People want to lift up the mountain with mere words, but it just stays there.

ਜੋਰੁ ਸਕਤਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਿਛੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਰਾਖਹੁ ਸਰਣਿ ਪਰੇ ॥੨॥੭॥੧੨॥
जोरु सकति नानक किछु नाही प्रभ राखहु सरणि परे ॥२॥७॥१२॥
Jor sakaṫ Naanak kichʰ naahee parabʰ raakʰo saraṇ paré. ||2||7||12||
Nanak has no strength or power at all; O God, please protect me - I seek Your Sanctuary. ||2||7||12||

Har ké charan kamal man ḋʰi▫aa▫o.
Meditate on the lotus feet of the Lord within your mind.

ਕਾਢਿ ਕੁਠਾਰੁ ਪਿਤ ਬਾਤ ਹੰਤਾ ਅਉਖਧੁ ਹਰਿ ਕੋ ਨਾਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
काढि कुठारु पित बात हंता अउखधु हरि को नाउ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Kaadʰ kutʰaar piṫ baaṫ hanṫaa a▫ukʰaḋʰ har ko naa▫o. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
The Name of the Lord is the medicine; it is like an ax, which destroys the diseases caused by anger and egotism. ||1||Pause||

ਤੀਨੇ ਤਾਪ ਨਿਵਾਰਣਹਾਰਾ ਦੁਖ ਹੰਤਾ ਸੁਖ ਰਾਸਿ ॥
तीने ताप निवारणहारा दुख हंता सुख रासि ॥
Ṫeené ṫaap nivaaraṇhaaraa ḋukʰ hanṫaa sukʰ raas.
The Lord is the One who removes the three fevers; He is the Destroyer of pain, the warehouse of peace.

ਤਾ ਕਉ ਬਿਘਨੁ ਨ ਕੋਊ ਲਾਗੈ ਜਾ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਆਗੈ ਅਰਦਾਸਿ ॥੧॥
ता कउ बिघनु न कोऊ लागै जा की प्रभ आगै अरदासि ॥१॥
Ṫaa ka▫o bigʰan na ko▫oo laagæ jaa kee parabʰ aagæ arḋaas. ||1||
No obstacles block the path of one who prays before God. ||1||
|
ਸੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਬੈਦ ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ਕਰਣ ਕਾਰਣ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਏਕ ॥
संत प्रसादि बैद नाराइण करण कारण प्रभ एक ॥
Sanṫ parsaaḋ bæḋ naaraa▫iṇ karaṇ kaaraṇ parabʰ ék.
By the Grace of the Saints, the Lord has become my physician; God alone is the Doer, the Cause of all causes.

ਬਾਲ ਬੁਧਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਸੁਖਦਾਤਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਟੇਕ ॥੨॥੮॥੧੩॥
बाल बुधि पूरन सुखदाता नानक हरि हरि टेक ॥२॥८॥१३॥
Baal buḋʰ pooran sukʰ▫ḋaaṫa Naanak har har ték. ||2||8||13||
He is the Giver of perfect peace to the innocent-minded people; O Nanak! The Lord, Har, Har, is my support. ||2||8||13||

Chant the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, forever and ever.

ਧਾਰਿ ਅਨੁਗ੍ਰਹੁ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਵਸਦੀ ਕੀਨੀ ਆਪਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
धारि अनुग्रहु पारब्रहम सुआमी वसदी कीनी आपि ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Ḋʰaar anoograhu paarbarahm su▫aamee vasḋee keenee aap. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
Showering His Kind Mercy, the Supreme Lord God Himself has blessed the town. ||1||Pause||

ਜਿਸ ਕੇ ਸੇ ਫਿਰਿ ਤਿਨ ਹੀ ਸਮੑਾਲੇ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਸੋਗ ਸੰਤਾਪ ॥
जिस के से फिरि तिन ही सम्हाले बिनसे सोग संताप ॥
Jis ké sé fir ṫin hee samĥaalé binsé sog sanṫaap.
The One who owns me, has again taken care of me; my sorrow and suffering is past.

ਹਾਥ ਦੇਇ ਰਾਖੇ ਜਨ ਅਪਨੇ ਹਰਿ ਹੋਏ ਮਾਈ ਬਾਪ ॥੧॥
हाथ देइ राखे जन अपने हरि होए माई बाप ॥१॥
Haaṫʰ ḋé▫é raakʰé jan apné har ho▫é maa▫ee baap. ||1||
He gave me His hand, and saved me, His humble servant; the Lord is my mother and father. ||1||
|
ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ ਹੋਏ ਮਿਹਰਵਾਨਾ ਦਯਾ ਧਾਰੀ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਥ ॥
जीअ जंत होए मिहरवाना दया धारी हरि नाथ ॥
Jee▫a janṫ ho▫é miharvaanaa ḋa▫yaa ḋʰaaree har naaṫʰ.
All beings and creatures have become kind to me; my Lord and Master blessed me with His Kind Mercy.

ਨਾਨਕ ਸਰਨਿ ਪਰੇ ਦੁਖ ਭੰਜਨ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਬਡ ਪਰਤਾਪ ॥੨॥੯॥੧੪॥
नानक सरनि परे दुख भंजन जा का बड परताप ॥२॥९॥१४॥
Naanak saran paré ḋukʰ bʰanjan jaa kaa bad parṫaap. ||2||9||14||
Nanak seeks the Sanctuary of the Lord, the Destroyer of pain; His glory is so great! ||2||9||14||

O Lord and Master, I seek the Sanctuary of Your Court.

ਕੋਟਿ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਖੰਡਨ ਕੇ ਦਾਤੇ ਤੁਝ ਬਿਨੁ ਕਉਨੁ ਉਧਾਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
कोटि अपराध खंडन के दाते तुझ बिनु कउनु उधारे ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Kot apraaḋʰ kʰandan ké ḋaaṫé ṫujʰ bin ka▫un uḋʰaaré. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
Destroyer of millions of sins, O Great Giver, other than You, who else can save me? ||1||Pause||

ਖੋਜਤ ਖੋਜਤ ਬਹੁ ਪਰਕਾਰੇ ਸਰਬ ਅਰਥ ਬੀਚਾਰੇ ॥
खोजत खोजत बहु परकारे सरब अरथ बीचारे ॥
Kʰojaṫ kʰojaṫ baho parkaaré sarab araṫʰ beechaaré.
Searching, searching in so many ways, I have contemplated all the objects of life.

ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਪਰਮ ਗਤਿ ਪਾਈਐ ਮਾਇਆ ਰਚਿ ਬੰਧਿ ਹਾਰੇ ॥੧॥
साधसंगि परम गति पाईऐ माइआ रचि बंधि हारे ॥१॥
Saaḋʰsang param gaṫ paa▫ee▫æ maa▫i▫aa rach banḋʰ haaré. ||1||
In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, the supreme state is attained. But those who are engrossed in the bondage of Maya, lose the game of life. ||1||
