ਸਗਲੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਜਾਤਾ ਤੂ ਸੋਈ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਭਾਇ ਸੁਭਾਏ ॥
सगली जोति जाता तू सोई मिलिआ भाइ सुभाए ॥
Saglee joṫ jaaṫaa ṫoo so▫ee mili▫aa bʰaa▫é subʰaa▫é.
Your Light is in everyone; through it, You are known. Through love, You are easily met.

ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਜਨ ਕਉ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਈਐ ਸਾਚਿ ਮਿਲੇ ਘਰਿ ਆਏ ॥੧॥
नानक साजन कउ बलि जाईऐ साचि मिले घरि आए ॥१॥
Naanak saajan ka▫o bal jaa▫ee▫æ saach milé gʰar aa▫é. ||1||
O Nanak! I am a sacrifice to my Friend; He has come home to meet with those who are true. ||1||

ਘਰਿ ਆਇਅੜੇ ਸਾਜਨਾ ਤਾ ਧਨ ਖਰੀ ਸਰਸੀ ਰਾਮ ॥
घरि आइअड़े साजना ता धन खरी सरसी राम ॥
Gʰar aa▫i▫aṛé saajnaa ṫaa ḋʰan kʰaree sarsee raam.
When her Friend comes to her home, the bride is very pleased.

ਹਰਿ ਮੋਹਿਅੜੀ ਸਾਚ ਸਬਦਿ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਦੇਖਿ ਰਹੰਸੀ ਰਾਮ ॥
हरि मोहिअड़ी साच सबदि ठाकुर देखि रहंसी राम ॥
Har mohi▫aṛee saach sabaḋ tʰaakur ḋékʰ rahansee raam.
She is fascinated with the True Word of the Lord’s Shabad; gazing upon her Lord and Master, she is filled with joy.

ਗੁਣ ਸੰਗਿ ਰਹੰਸੀ ਖਰੀ ਸਰਸੀ ਜਾ ਰਾਵੀ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤੈ ॥
गुण संगि रहंसी खरी सरसी जा रावी रंगि रातै ॥
Guṇ sang rahansee kʰaree sarsee jaa raavee rang raaṫæ.
She is filled with virtuous joy, and is totally pleased, when she is ravished and enjoyed by her Lord, and imbued with His Love.

ਅਵਗਣ ਮਾਰਿ ਗੁਣੀ ਘਰੁ ਛਾਇਆ ਪੂਰੈ ਪੁਰਖਿ ਬਿਧਾਤੈ ॥
अवगण मारि गुणी घरु छाइआ पूरै पुरखि बिधातै ॥
Avgaṇ maar guṇee gʰar chʰaa▫i▫aa pooræ purakʰ biḋʰaaṫæ.
Her faults and demerits are eradicated, and she roofs her home with virtue, through the Perfect Lord, the Architect of Destiny.

ਤਸਕਰ ਮਾਰਿ ਵਸੀ ਪੰਚਾਇਣਿ ਅਦਲੁ ਕਰੇ ਵੀਚਾਰੇ ॥
तसकर मारि वसी पंचाइणि अदलु करे वीचारे ॥
Ṫaskar maar vasee panchaa▫iṇ aḋal karé veechaaré.
Conquering the thieves, she dwells as the mistress of her home, and administers justice wisely.

ਨਾਨਕ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮਿ ਨਿਸਤਾਰਾ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਮਿਲਹਿ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥੨॥
नानक राम नामि निसतारा गुरमति मिलहि पिआरे ॥२॥
Naanak raam naam nisṫaaraa gurmaṫ milėh pi▫aaré. ||2||
O Nanak! Through the Lord’s Name, she is emancipated; through the Guru’s Teachings, she meets her Beloved. ||2||

ਵਰੁ ਪਾਇਅੜਾ ਬਾਲੜੀਏ ਆਸਾ ਮਨਸਾ ਪੂਰੀ ਰਾਮ ॥
वरु पाइअड़ा बालड़ीए आसा मनसा पूरी राम ॥
var paa▫i▫aṛaa baalṛee▫é aasaa mansaa pooree raam.
The young bride has found her Husband Lord; her hopes and desires are fulfilled.

ਪਿਰਿ ਰਾਵਿਅੜੀ ਸਬਦਿ ਰਲੀ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਨਹ ਦੂਰੀ ਰਾਮ ॥
पिरि राविअड़ी सबदि रली रवि रहिआ नह दूरी राम ॥
Pir raavi▫aṛee sabaḋ ralee rav rahi▫aa nah ḋooree raam.
She enjoys and ravishes her Husband Lord, and blends into the Word of the Shabad, pervading and permeating everywhere; the Lord is not far away.

ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਦੂਰਿ ਨ ਹੋਈ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਸੋਈ ਤਿਸ ਕੀ ਨਾਰਿ ਸਬਾਈ ॥
प्रभु दूरि न होई घटि घटि सोई तिस की नारि सबाई ॥
Parabʰ ḋoor na ho▫ee gʰat gʰat so▫ee ṫis kee naar sabaa▫ee.
God is not far away; He is in each and every heart. All are His brides.

ਆਪੇ ਰਸੀਆ ਆਪੇ ਰਾਵੇ ਜਿਉ ਤਿਸ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥
आपे रसीआ आपे रावे जिउ तिस दी वडिआई ॥
Aapé rasee▫aa aapé raavé ji▫o ṫis ḋee vadi▫aa▫ee.
He Himself is the Enjoyer, He Himself ravishes and enjoys; this is His glorious greatness.

ਅਮਰ ਅਡੋਲੁ ਅਮੋਲੁ ਅਪਾਰਾ ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਸਚੁ ਪਾਈਐ ॥
अमर अडोलु अमोलु अपारा गुरि पूरै सचु पाईऐ ॥
Amar adol amol apaaraa gur pooræ sach paa▫ee▫æ.
He is imperishable, immovable, invaluable and infinite. The True Lord is obtained through the Perfect Guru.

ਨਾਨਕ ਆਪੇ ਜੋਗ ਸਜੋਗੀ ਨਦਰਿ ਕਰੇ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਈਐ ॥੩॥
नानक आपे जोग सजोगी नदरि करे लिव लाईऐ ॥३॥
Naanak aapé jog sajogee naḋar karé liv laa▫ee▫æ. ||3||
O Nanak! He Himself unites in Union; by His Glance of Grace, He lovingly attunes them to Himself. ||3||

ਪਿਰੁ ਉਚੜੀਐ ਮਾੜੜੀਐ ਤਿਹੁ ਲੋਆ ਸਿਰਤਾਜਾ ਰਾਮ ॥
पिरु उचड़ीऐ माड़ड़ीऐ तिहु लोआ सिरताजा राम ॥
Pir uchṛee▫æ maaṛ▫ṛee▫æ ṫihu lo▫aa sirṫaajaa raam.
My Husband Lord dwells in the loftiest balcony; He is the Supreme Lord of the three worlds.

ਹਉ ਬਿਸਮ ਭਈ ਦੇਖਿ ਗੁਣਾ ਅਨਹਦ ਸਬਦ ਅਗਾਜਾ ਰਾਮ ॥
हउ बिसम भई देखि गुणा अनहद सबद अगाजा राम ॥
Ha▫o bisam bʰa▫ee ḋékʰ guṇaa anhaḋ sabaḋ agaajaa raam.
I am amazed, gazing upon His glorious excellence; the unstruck sound current of the Shabad vibrates and resonates.

ਸਬਦੁ ਵੀਚਾਰੀ ਕਰਣੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਨੀਸਾਣੋ ॥
सबदु वीचारी करणी सारी राम नामु नीसाणो ॥
Sabaḋ veechaaree karṇee saaree raam naam neesaaṇo.
I contemplate the Shabad, and perform sublime deeds; I am blessed with the insignia, the banner of the Lord’s Name.

ਨਾਮ ਬਿਨਾ ਖੋਟੇ ਨਹੀ ਠਾਹਰ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਤਨੁ ਪਰਵਾਣੋ ॥
नाम बिना खोटे नही ठाहर नामु रतनु परवाणो ॥
Naam binaa kʰoté nahee tʰaahar naam raṫan parvaaṇo.
Without the Naam, the Name of the Lord, the false find no place of rest; only the jewel of the Naam brings acceptance and renown.

ਪਤਿ ਮਤਿ ਪੂਰੀ ਪੂਰਾ ਪਰਵਾਨਾ ਨਾ ਆਵੈ ਨਾ ਜਾਸੀ ॥
पति मति पूरी पूरा परवाना ना आवै ना जासी ॥
Paṫ maṫ pooree pooraa parvaanaa naa aavæ naa jaasee.
Perfect is my honor, perfect is my intellect and password. I shall not have to come or go.

ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਆਪੁ ਪਛਾਣੈ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੈਸੇ ਅਵਿਨਾਸੀ ॥੪॥੧॥੩॥
नानक गुरमुखि आपु पछाणै प्रभ जैसे अविनासी ॥४॥१॥३॥
Naanak gurmukʰ aap pachʰaaṇæ parabʰ jæsé avinaasee. ||4||1||3||
O Nanak! The Gurmukh understands her own self; she becomes like her Imperishable Lord God. ||4||1||3||

जिनि कीआ तिनि देखिआ जगु धंधड़ै लाइआ ॥
Jin kee▫aa ṫin ḋékʰi▫aa jag ḋʰanḋʰ▫ṛæ laa▫i▫aa.
The One who created the world, watches over it; He enjoins the people of the world to their tasks.

ਦਾਨਿ ਤੇਰੈ ਘਟਿ ਚਾਨਣਾ ਤਨਿ ਚੰਦੁ ਦੀਪਾਇਆ ॥
दानि तेरै घटि चानणा तनि चंदु दीपाइआ ॥
Ḋaan ṫéræ gʰat chaanṇaa ṫan chanḋ ḋeepaa▫i▫aa.
Your gifts, O Lord, illuminate the heart, and the moon casts its light on the body.

ਚੰਦੋ ਦੀਪਾਇਆ ਦਾਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਕੈ ਦੁਖੁ ਅੰਧੇਰਾ ਉਠਿ ਗਇਆ ॥
चंदो दीपाइआ दानि हरि कै दुखु अंधेरा उठि गइआ ॥
Chanḋo ḋeepaa▫i▫aa ḋaan har kæ ḋukʰ anḋʰéraa utʰ ga▫i▫aa.
The moon glows, by the Lord’s gift, and the darkness of suffering is taken away.

ਗੁਣ ਜੰਞ ਲਾੜੇ ਨਾਲਿ ਸੋਹੈ ਪਰਖਿ ਮੋਹਣੀਐ ਲਇਆ ॥
गुण जंञ लाड़े नालि सोहै परखि मोहणीऐ लइआ ॥
Guṇ jañ laaṛé naal sohæ parakʰ mohṇee▫æ la▫i▫aa.
The marriage party of virtue looks beautiful with the Groom; He chooses His enticing bride with care.

ਵੀਵਾਹੁ ਹੋਆ ਸੋਭ ਸੇਤੀ ਪੰਚ ਸਬਦੀ ਆਇਆ ॥
वीवाहु होआ सोभ सेती पंच सबदी आइआ ॥
veevaahu ho▫aa sobʰ séṫee panch sabḋee aa▫i▫aa.
The wedding is performed with glorious splendor; He has arrived, accompanied by the vibrations of the Panch Shabad, the Five Primal Sounds.

ਜਿਨਿ ਕੀਆ ਤਿਨਿ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਜਗੁ ਧੰਧੜੈ ਲਾਇਆ ॥੧॥

Ha▫o balihaaree saajnaa meeṫaa avreeṫaa.
I am a sacrifice to my pure friends, the immaculate Saints.

ਇਹੁ ਤਨੁ ਜਿਨ ਸਿਉ ਗਾਡਿਆ ਮਨੁ ਲੀਅੜਾ ਦੀਤਾ ॥
इहु तनु जिन सिउ गाडिआ मनु लीअड़ा दीता ॥
Ih ṫan jin si▫o gaadi▫aa man lee▫aṛaa ḋeeṫaa.
This body is attached to them, and we have shared our minds.
|
ਲੀਆ ਤ ਦੀਆ ਮਾਨੁ ਜਿਨੑ ਸਿਉ ਸੇ ਸਜਨ ਕਿਉ ਵੀਸਰਹਿ ॥
लीआ त दीआ मानु जिन्ह सिउ से सजन किउ वीसरहि ॥
Lee▫aa ṫa ḋee▫aa maan jinĥ si▫o sé sajan ki▫o veesrahi.
We have shared our minds - how could I forget those friends?

ਜਿਨੑ ਦਿਸਿ ਆਇਆ ਹੋਹਿ ਰਲੀਆ ਜੀਅ ਸੇਤੀ ਗਹਿ ਰਹਹਿ ॥
जिन्ह दिसि आइआ होहि रलीआ जीअ सेती गहि रहहि ॥
Jinĥ ḋis aa▫i▫aa hohi ralee▫aa jee▫a séṫee gėh rahėh.
Seeing them brings joy to my heart; I keep them clasped to my soul.

ਸਗਲ ਗੁਣ ਅਵਗਣੁ ਨ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਹਿ ਨੀਤਾ ਨੀਤਾ ॥
सगल गुण अवगणु न कोई होहि नीता नीता ॥
Sagal guṇ avgaṇ na ko▫ee hohi neeṫaa neeṫaa.
They have all virtues and merits, forever and ever; they have no demerits or faults at all.

ਹਉ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ਸਾਜਨਾ ਮੀਤਾ ਅਵਰੀਤਾ ॥੨॥
हउ बलिहारी साजना मीता अवरीता ॥२॥
Ha▫o balihaaree saajnaa meeṫaa avreeṫaa. ||2||
I am a sacrifice to my pure friends, the immaculate Saints. ||2||
|
ਗੁਣਾ ਕਾ ਹੋਵੈ ਵਾਸੁਲਾ ਕਢਿ ਵਾਸੁ ਲਈਜੈ ॥
गुणा का होवै वासुला कढि वासु लईजै ॥
Guṇaa kaa hovæ vaasulaa kadʰ vaas la▫eejæ.
One who has a basket of fragrant virtues, should enjoy its fragrance.
|
ਜੇ ਗੁਣ ਹੋਵਨੑਿ ਸਾਜਨਾ ਮਿਲਿ ਸਾਝ ਕਰੀਜੈ ॥
जे गुण होवन्हि साजना मिलि साझ करीजै ॥
Jé guṇ hovniĥ saajnaa mil saajʰ kareejæ.
If my friends have virtues, I will share in those.
